haha. his form was pretty good. fo using what 8-6 chains, then last set blowing it up with huge reps, with body weight. i guarentee you could not do that fat ass. i could barley us 3 45 plates for pull ups
back perpendicular to the floor, knees bent with legs crossed so as to isolate the upper body, and no leg kicks to swing or "leap froggin" to complete the rep
Dude Ive seen you doing these on one of the videos. I noticed you have a closer grip and dont go wide. Is that more functional becuase wide grip is more of a bodybuilding grip for wider lats.
Hot damn, time for me to hit the gym about 3 times and then eat a few raw steaks right off the cow.
You mean 200 pounds right? I always thought it odd how something like 200 pounds could be monstrous on, for example, a 5'7'' guy and be thin as a rail on a taller guy.
JoeD - It's strange, i can perform MORE total BW dips after the weighted ones compared to just warming up with the same set/rep ratio then performing BW max dips.
It's like all of the sudden I feel light as a feather and can crank out around 30.
that guy looks too big to be allowed :D brilliant

is using chains better than using plates or dbs on a dip belt for weighted pull ups ?
koolkid19931 3 years ago
probably not but it adds manliness points which can help you to lift more. IMO.

It's the same resistance, but chains are more easy to take on and off.

this is a first exercise on upper body repetition?
joe, do you suggest athletes training in your program doing this kind of pullups? I mean he doesn't go for full extension.
300Spartans1 3 years ago
he's not an athlete... just a washed up meathead, so full range of motion isn't in his vocabulary... he's just in it for the pump!

How much did each loop of chain weight?
JRT140 3 years ago 7
Chains weighed 20 lbs. EACH...so he went from 80lbs. to 60lbs. to 40lbs. to 20lbs. before performing the bodyweight set.
