I hate all these Youtube videos on "the power of makeup" It's the power of FAKE EYELASHES which changes monolids to double lids if you put them on a certain way or you wear a certain kind. @happymusics Its called CIRCLE LENS CONTACTS, making your eyes appear larger which is quite popular in asia. :3

@happymusics I think you're talking about eyelid glue which is a glue you spread out on your lid which stick together forming a false double eyelid. There's also the use of eyelid tape which is a small crescent shaped sticker that you stick on your lid that forces the folding of the eyelid to create double eyelids :)

I know about this because i was cursed with uneven eyelids! thankfully, eyelid tape fixed that! hahah :)

@TheeRagged Believe it or not but I used to have average double eye folds, then one time I cried and got puffy eyes but had to go to work, so I cut 2 of those crescent shape out of regular scotch tape & taped it on my eyes while going to work (45 minutes or so). Ever since that time, I have 3 folded eyes, so I think it improved my eyes. :)

And then with time the guy would find out that the girl has a very nice personality and that she doesn't look bad even without makeup. In the past, poor people worked outside at the sun and became dark while rich people stayed inside and remained pale. So even today dark = poor and pale = rich. It's even SO important that in pretty much every makeup or body lotion there are whitening components that bleach the skin (even though it's not very good for it)...

Those videos are all nice and dandy, but what happens if a boy/man falls in love with that 'face'? What do those girls who transform themselves into completely different persons with that makeup do the first time that boy/man stays over night?
