For a very very beginner it isnt too bad. Learn how to sleep with it and get the feel of a yoyo with it. But its just a cheap 5 dollar wal-mart yoyo. If you want a good yoyo to learn with, Yomega Raider is perfect. Once you get pretty good, get like a hotshot or Maverick.

Whats a good all around yoyo,I used to love Butterflys,but the current ones suck.I have a speedbettle thats decent,but I want somthing a litttle more solid feeling with a really long spin and high speed,I was looking at stuff around the $40 price area,preferably duncan,maybe a free hand zero or a hayabusa,or a metal zero,I want something good to try counterweight with too,Ive been wanting to get back into yoyo-ing,but the selection at wal mart isnt so great.any help?

I think this video is a somewhat poor explanation. He did not bother to explain that the closer the yo-yo is to your off hand finger, the easier it is to land the trapeze. watch the Andre videos, they're much better.

well i hav the speed beetle, and its made for looping, but then i modded it, and now its great 4 sting tricks, my sleeper started at 12 sec, and now itd 45 sec.

well, clean your bearing, i dont want to give advice on that because i dont want something bad to happen for u, so u can ask other people, but if they say use lighter fluid or mineral spirits DONT! but then i opened the caps and i took wire and i put it on the edge so it got outer rim weight and i put it bak together, then i wore out the friction stickers and then i just practiced. remember that a very straight sleeper is key, and u dont want the string touching the edges at all.
