  • NASA Says: They want their computer back.

  • @GustavoAmexia

No way...Only if they return Hubble and the Shuttle to me. Give or take a few rockets but those two I DO want back!

  • 10 hours rendering time.. no matter how much processing power you have it's never enough..

  • Mmmm... Grape juice~!

  • MOTHER OF GRAPHICS!

  • dude you didnt need an i 7 to make this

  • If I ran this on my PC? My PC would get murdered.

  • virtual Ribena

  • how long would this take with my machine?

    i5-2500K @ 4.2Ghz

    2x corsair vengence 4GB 1600mhz

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 TI

    60 GB SSD Nova 2 + 1TB westernD Black

  • @kinkyboo13 I would guess like... a day or so. Maybe more?

  • The reason RealFlow failed to mesh those frames is that you paused the simulation during the meshing. I'm guessing you had it meshing at the same time as simulating, instead of doing the mesh as post-processing? If you still have the particle data, you can re-mesh relatively easily and comparatively quickly.

  • sick!!

  • Hi, would you mind telling me what version of realflow you are using? There are alot of reasons why the particles might not mesh on a given frame. Was realflow crashing out on the frames that wouldn't mesh?

  • Uhh, why did the liquid creeped up the corner of the box like a spider? was it gravity glitch or you didn't want to mess with the settings?

  • kinda looks like grape juice very nice btw

  • Looks real good job!

  • It's a good render, as while I watched it I became thirsty.

  • fresh!

  • GRAPE JUICE!!

  • Who ever made this. Holy crap. It look frigen amazing. I bought my laptop just for i could do stuff like this too, although im just learning still; and i'll probably still be a novice for a couple years :/. Awesome job.

  • Well I think I need to change my underwear.........

  • It looks kind of like wine or grape juice....

  • cool

  • I don't know why but I wanna drink that..

  • looks tasty

  • yum, cranberry grape juice

  • EPIC GRAPE JUICE

  • HOLY SHIT LOOKS LIKE D PEPPS (DR PEPPER) NOW I REALLY REALLY NEED ONE.

  • i don't know why i remember "the shining"

  • @cristyfofis yeah, the elevator scene?

  • @Daelmyth ahaha yeah!

  • @Daelmyth watch?v=lKvWlWkY8Mc

  • my smartphone crashed while playing this video xD

  • GREAT JOB. try to render it by using any cloud server. much faster.

  • My AMD FX-8150 has more cores and is faster ;)

    Nice animation BTW

  • I need a editor to work with our clan let me no if your interested pm me?

  • It seems to be that your computer couldn't process those missing frames. Either they timed out or you ran out of memory. Great fluid tho!

  • that water looks more realistic than real water :L

  • Reallife 2.0.1.2 can render this in realtime

  • I could have done with that effect on my last movie. That looks totally awesome.

  • I'm getting thirsty off this.

  • Almost perfect.

  • THATS MY COLOR

  • Is it just me or is it kinda funny that the title says "High Res Final Render ( incomplete )". It's not a final render if it's incomplete right?

  • @SnoweyMan111

No aint just you. A final render should not be incomplete...but this one is^^ It was the final version of the test. I saw what I wanted to see and the missing frames did not matter to me anymore. Even though they looked even more impressive...but I had the wireframe version so I did not care about dancing with the software for another day to find a solution. So this was def. the final render, but the sequence is incomplete.

  • @SnoweyMan111 Final rendering of an incomplete project. It's pretty simple.

  • @GeekMaster6000 Except the maker of this video agrees. It's more like he canceled the project when he achieved a result he felt was fitting, there's still points on the to-dolist.

  • Wine

  • im thirsty now

  • Realflow sucks and Blender pwns.

  • grape juice!

  • Any chance you could upload a complete version of it?

  • Just got my new i7 2600k quad core 2nd gen. on a gigabyte motherboard, 20gb SSD, 2x1tb harddrives, 2 nvidia gtx 580's, watercooled, cant wait to do this stuff on max, my render times will be so fast :D woo! i just wish i could render off my graphics cards, i know vray does that on RT but not all cards work with it.

  • @screener545

Truely not a joke at all . . . Good luck with the new machine then.

  • @DragonsSpirit I didn't understand where I didnt exagerate in my comment... Its about the same or slightly faster than an I7... To be serious...

  • @screener545

No offense mate...it just wasnt funny imo. Happy new year btw. Soon^^

  • @screener545 to be honest, you seem utterly retarded. Theres nothing a uneducated guy like you could pay for to render something like that in 30 minutes. Even if you would take all your familys money you couldn't afford it.

We don't even have to talk about the "same or slightly faster than i7.." bullshit, do we? ;)

  • @TheHitlerGuy LOL I have to laugh at people like you (Now I'm being serious). People like you are so narrowminded that as soon as someone says something about a device you have and you freak the fuck out. Obviously I don't have a full education yet I'm 15, You should learn how to take a joke bud, Obviously I was lieing about rendering time! And just because you have an I7 (Different architecture) doesnt mean its faster than mine smartass... Your to narrowminded to talk to, Bye.....

  • @screener545 First off, it means "you're" and not "your", I tell you this because i think you're young enough to get your education back on track ;). And yes, i7 does mean that it's faster being the worlds fastest consumer-market architecture available son, so again it's your missing education leading you to fail.

You will never reach "full" education with your game being at that level right now, but who cares besides mommy, eh?

  • @screener545 I actually have something that would massacre that thing. AMD Dual HexaCore Thubans, Black Editions.

  • @TheMuslimKiller :P Yup it would. Im not saying mine is the best just saying its the best compared to a crappy i7... Ive seen a i7 that costed 200 to 300 bucks and is slow as hell he is disappointed with its preformance compared to my 100$ FX4150? I forgot which model this is... What ever yes Hexacore will fuck my computer up.

  • @TheMuslimKiller holy shit! dual hexacore? for serious? DAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaammmnnnnn.

  • @Daelmyth Yea man, they even have 12 Core versions now. Imagine a Dual 12 core.

  • @TheMuslimKiller That would be the end of the world as we know it. Dual 12 core would "render" us out of existence. Or it would just take over the planet. :-)

  • @screener545 Guessing it's an Intel Xeon then, the I7 is next to the Xeon, the best processor in the game. Otherwise, I smell bullshit.

  • Comment removed

  • @screener545 Kindly be quiet, and stop acting like you're at the top of the world.

I don't like to boast about my setup, but if you're going to boast about yours, and act like you're better than this guy, I have to.

I have an AMD Bulldozer-powered Opteron 6200, 16-core CPU, 32GB RAM, Radeon HD 6990, total cost $6,800 dollars.

Don't try and make fun of this guy for having an i7, because compared to mine, yours is a 1995 laptop.

  • @94sFinest If you're in VFX, you should get a faster system. But that's good enough.

  • @94sFinest Whats wrong with i7???

  • @94sFinest

    nice waste of money bro.

  • @screener545 Why would you comment about yourself?

Do you want a medal or something?

This video has NOTHING to do with your computer.

  • @screener545 umm no ssd's? and i7 is the flagship cpu soo.. nice joke lol

  • How many particles?

  • : O cool! 10 years later, we would laugh about videos like this xD

  • Imagine this in a videogame. :-O

  • you must configure the speed x2, this looks so slowotioned

  • What mesh settings did you use?, Ive been messing around but can never quite get this super smooth yet intricate look

  • You Can Do This With An i7 But What Am I Gonna Do With This Pentium D

  • mmmMMMmmhhh! tasty jam

  • now we just need this real time

  • @Banje33 Ehh all we need is anti aging serum and wait about 87 more years for 7 yottahert proccesors and a good old SuperTurboGTXover9000

  • @iceman78772 well i might still be around then without the serum and ill get it tomorrow.... ill use a time machine and bring it back to me from the future.

  • @Banje33 Problem, Back To The Future?

  • Also the render is absolutely stunning, great work

  • Chuck Norris is such a popular feature in Youtube comments. I love that ;p

  • Is your i7 overclocked? I have a 2.8 running at 3.8... these chips have awesome potential.

  • Gimme that grape juice.

  • just beautiful

  • that is amazing!

  • even youtube crashs !

  • It's not just a good CPU you need, you need a good GPU aswell.

  • What a waste of wine...

  • I watch this render a least once a day.... It's so beautiful, would you consider re-rendering a complete video of it? Pretty Please??

  • if its incomplete why do you use FINAL render? :D

  • vimto has never looked more appetising

  • There's no 0:23 .. Sorry i just had to do it..

  • dude thats insane anychance of a tutorial

  • @DaleGFX

    1. Open up realflow

    2. Create and emitter

    3. Make a cylinder, and fill it with emitter

    4. Make a Domain

    5. Set domain and emitter to the highest possible settings.

    6. Wait 10 hours

    7. Mesh

    8. Render!!!

  • so... this is how computer games will look like in the future... completely indistinguishable from reality?

  • How well would a Core i5 handle this, is an i5 like a regular processor?

  • Chuck Norris calld he wants his computer back

  • @borjan121

again -.- poor guy. Tell him it wont happen. Not even if he calls you.

  • @borjan121 your pc does not has to bee super great if you want to render water. welcome to the 21.th century noob

  • "I want that purple stuffff."

  • This makes me thirsty for some grape juice now... I don't like grape juice ...

  • I'm thirsty.

  • what was the res?

  • @timopdrumz 1280x720

  • very nice

  • Yep you can do this, or you could just pour some wine in real life.

  • just imagine ... this render will be running in Real-time within 20 years

  • wow... just wow

  • I can't wait until you guys support CUDA, I'll buy a Tesla card right away!

  • - in what 3d software did you render the final realflow meshes?

    - did you used any third party rendering application? Amazing video

  • i am waiting the time when the water will look like this in video games :D

  • @GoldenBlockGaming It is a GT540M with optimus, would it be allrite?

  • WOW WOW WOW! Amazing!

  • I'm getting a laptop with 2nd gen i7, 2gb nividia dedicated graphics, 8gb ram and 1tb hardrive, will it be good enuf to render something like this? It mite be a dumb question, i ain't to techy, jus need to know

  • @KILLERFR0GY I imagine it'll be fine. The render time would probably be a bit more than 10 hours, which was the uploaders time - because laptop i7s aren't as powerful as desktop i7s due to the heat they can generate.

Also the RAM isn't too much of an issue, and what do you mean by '2GB Nvidia Dedicated Graphics', that could mean anything from a Quadro which would be very good for rendering to a GTX 460M, that is by no means bad but not necessarily ideal. Desktops will almost always be faster.

  • rendertime 3,5 million years :D

  • Fucking awesome!

  • why am i looking at real life OH WAIT!

  • Holy fuk that looks real.

  • Is GPU or CPU more important

  • @MrArtus50 for rendering CPU and RAM ofc...

  • @MrArtus50 cpu...gpu us ur grapics processor

  • can you upload with out slow motion?

  • density?

  • INTEL CORE I7!!!!!!!!!!

  • My iphone can render this!

  • @kanfor your iphone can't do shit :P

  • That makes me thirsty for grape juice.

  • how did you get it to look so....pretty? when i try to render it, it always looks just clear and really dark shadows

  • Hibiscus tea (agua de Jamaica)

    Delish, I like it ;-)

  • this is actually the most "realistic" realflow i've ever seen :D

and the colors is nice too! :)

  • Is this Coolaid?

  • That looks delicious. Now I want some Weltches grape juice.

  • @DragonsSpirit how many particles?

  • My laptop is powerful enough to render this in 12 hours...

  • which CPU...exactly?

  • I really dont know about Realflow, but if it does the computing on the GPU then it is (mostly) the same using a Core i7 or using a lower-end CPU... And if it does not use the GPU, it is a shame:)

  • @Kremesfeka I don't know about Realflow either, but doing graphical processing on the CPU makes sense for benchmarking, especially when it comes to vector processing and floating point operations.

And as far as I know, Intel's recent Sandy Bridge architecture supports vectors (and may have improved support for floats too, since it includes an IGP), which might greatly increase the score in such benchmarks.

I'm really looking forward to Ivy Bridge, though :D

    Cheers, mate.

  • Well it looks fabulous, too bad about the missing frames.

  • @rQai THANK you! T_T I regret posting that comment so much, I have gotten SOOO many comments about it. Probably... 30-40 in the past month?

  • lol, if AllOfVideos knows his specs, he knows they suck its a joke guys :D

  • can't wait till hardware becomes powerful enough to run this realtime in games.

    just a couple more years...

  • @baca262 5.2 years away

  • Will and i7 930 (2.8GHz) handle something like this? I want to push this PC to the limit, so maybe suggesting some free program to benchmark it? Thanks.

  • @prestb geekbench is good.. but the free version is only a trial which you can use once

  • @RuteNL Alright thanks. Hopefully I can put the one try to good use.

  • @Allofvideos my watch has better specs.

  • When will the render be finished? ;D

  • My laptop would literally grow an arm and SLAP me if I tried to run this. :/

  • @HarrisSpinos

Most likely...Many laptops do. But thats nothing compared to a smartphone or a PSP with linux on it. They wont slap you, they will blow up their battery and thereby take your hands away. Its really evil. Better use a nice PC. They may hate you then...but one can live with that^^

  • @DragonsSpirit my x6 would beat this shit

  • @DragonsSpirit Or a mac.

  • @DragonsSpirit My PC lags on simple 2d games sometimes, and my mother won't get a new one for us

  • @HarrisSpinos

ahahahahahaha you made my day ♥

  • @HarrisSpinos mine PC would just explode and you could hear it on the news "one victim in todays explosion in downtown... young men tried to render animation on old PC"

  • Made me thirsty

  • In very near future, pc's will be powerful enough to render such realistic simulations real-time. Imagine how games will look o.O

  • that was really cool

  • looks like a lot of ribena juice

  • you know I thought about it and I figured if u add motion blur to the animation it would make the water simu. look far more realistic. just a tip :)

  • will you lend me some of your OIL !!! ;-)

  • this looks better than reality lol...10h render time for this? dont believe that lol, more like 1hour per frame :)

  • it's still pretty badass, that's pretty wild for the future of film/comp generation :) Keep at it man!
