@acid9757 The blue background is his desktop background. On a mac the default screen mode for Photoshop doesn't have a background, so you can see you desktop below.

you use the magicwand tool and click on the black area. Once you have done that clcik delete. You should have a transperent backround so it should make gray and white square pattern. Save this as a png, bitmap, or jpeg.(png and bitmap recommended)

Crop>select background layer>paths>save shape(rounded rectangle one)>flatten image>duplicate background layer>paths>select shape>inverse selection>delete.

Then under file tab, save for web, on the right, it'll say "Preset"- select PNG-24 and save. That'll give you the button without anything else, like an annoying white border.
