It is very suspicious, the UN inspectors are only allowed to to be in Iran for only THREE DAYS, count 'em, and the Nuclear facility is heavily fortified. For something that is for civilian use, it seems very likely that Iran is trying to attain nuclear weapons, or at least near nuclear capabilities like Japan does, which they can call on at anytime.

More recently on Bloomberg, the Iranian president has declared Iran to be a nuclear state.

They are the only nuclear armed country that hasn't signed the nuclear non proliferation treaty and refuse to. They are the only country that won't allow weapons inspectors in to inspect their nukes and sites. N. Korea has, the UK has, Pakistan has, the US has. Every nuclear nation except them has so why are they so concerned with with Iran MAY do?

It's cute what you think international law means. Laws are established by sovereign nations, You can't have an international organization creating international laws for countries unwillingly. Thus, if a country does not agree to a law, it is NOT a law for what takes place in their country. International law is a joke, it only announces what certain countries stances are, not what every country has to abide by.

I never said that at all, I said countries have no 'legal' obligation to international law if they don't agree to it. Israel isn't very diplomatic and I believe they should let inspectors in, but they have no obligation to do it, if you disagree you're welcome to take them to war over it.

The idea behind that was to offer Iran the option to come forward and be honest about it's nuclear work. Iran didn't so we did. At the same time making it clear that we knew more than we were supposed to and that life would only get harder for Iran if they didn't start cooperating. This is how I understood that situation.

Like all politicians. I Meet the Press with John Kerry when he was visiting Afghanistan, and his message was very confusing. His stance is that we cannot win in Afghanistan but we will keep the Taliban at bay. Yet he says that the US may need more soldiers if appropriate, and yet he says that we use Counter-insurgency against a regular army militia in a mountainous region. He says that we should win yet he does not say anything that would suggest that the US should take the war to the enemy.
