  • All Those well dressed Stuffy People sitting there pretending to enjoy this.

I'm a big fan of KS, but I doubt anybody in that audience is an enthusiast.

  • the piece is a complete success- I believe its aim is to be 'not-traditional' in a compositional sense (and not in an instrumentation sense), and that's how I judged it- if I heard anything that sounded like traditional music, I would have failed it; he tempted failure by having a conductor keeping time; even with that restriction he succeeded; so a successful 'not' piece... hey, I'd coin a new genre- 'not' music...

  • The 13th Tone was inside but never touched.

In this area there is no place for TV-Loosers.

  • thanks for posting this.

on one hand, i found this juxtaposition of conventional setting (the chamber, musicans' dressing, and audience seatings) with KS's music quite provocative; yet i still believe his music shouldn't be played in traditional musical venue. and other media such as lighting and the architecture itself should work together to create a new ambience for ppl to experience his music as 'a whole'.

  • It was moved.

The Stockhausen is the god of 12 tones.

Thank you for your great music!
