no actually they are not, they are failures as political canidates for president, they should stick to what they are good at in the lower levels of Washington
Those three candidates have done more for the American people than any of the front runners can ever hope to.
I don't like Ron Paul, and I didn't like DK's presidential run, but show some respect. Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and Mike Gravel accomplished and will accomplish things that move America forward. They have a history of being legislative leaders, and if you're too stupid to realize that, perhaps you're better off voting for Obama.
failure is in the eye of the beholder. If the movement for true change in america can live on past Gravel, Paul, and Kucinich... then we will have won. If it can translate into elected officials who share their ideals, that will be a major victory. A victory can already be found in their message which does seem to resonate between the supporters of the 3. Regardless what side of the isle you sit on, this nation is in grave danger. We must stand up for our rights and demand a different course.
I am one of those rare anti-war conservatives. I do not agree with all of Mike Gravel's ideas. Considering how all the other candidates aside from the two TRUE mavericks are worthless, and seeing as how the media have treated both of them rarely mentioning Paul, and NEVER mentioning Gravel, there is no other alternative in my opinion. A vote for any establishment candidate at this point goes against my own standard of ethics and should everyone elses.
Listen, this isn't John McCain's youtube channel. You're not helping Dr. Paul out in anyway by commenting on our videos about how great Ron Paul is. I'm sure that there are more productive ways for you to get the message out than commenting on Gravel videos, because Gravel supporters would never vote for the most conservative candidate.
There is no r3volution when you work within the same broken governmental system. Paul might have the best intentions but will get no where just as he does in congress. Mike Gravel is the only one with a plan called the NI4D, without it, its all empty promises.
He'll get a lot further (and already has gotten light years further) than Mike Gravel ever has, or can hope to -- presently and in the future. At least Paul IS in Congress and still fighting, unlike Gravel who wimped out 25 years ago.
And NI4D is nothing more than one big empty campaign promise. Gravel offers only false hope. Paul offers true and real hope. That's the definitive difference and why so many people prefer and support RP's message over MG's message. The numbers tell the story...

But...If Paul wasn't running....I would vote for Gravel.

gravel is talking to about 5 people LOL, anyone who votes for him is an idiot. hey you idiots, come over to the good side and don't be brainwashed by this old faggot.
Speaking of brainwashed, what makes you think Obama is better? Tell us, the Gravel supporters, why. If you give a good reason with actual evidence referring to the Obama's experience in the senate. Don't just state it, give us proof. If you do this, many Gravel supporters should switch to Obama. If you cannot do this, THEN SHUT UP.
proof it is you say? thne go check out representative press video about obama not oposing illegal wars. of course you would just write that off too. it's all a question of the blue puill or red pill, you my friend took the blue pill and you welcomed their forced feeding hand.
You should thank your sweet ass that you're not in Iraq right now, or getting ready to go to Iran. Before you go calling people names, why don't you do a little reseach. By the way, what, exactly has Obama done in his service in the Senate???? That's right, absolutely NOTHING...Now run along now.
Mike, you call this a political rally, you don't have a big crowd or a stage or anything, at least Dennis got some media attention but this time he sucked worse then he did when he ran in 2004
haha, nice. You may want to reconsider letting Paul become your VP or you becoming his if one of you loses the primary. It would be needed momentum against the Clinton/Obama ticket which could easily happen.
hey that looks familiar...haha thanks for coming to our rally BIG MIKE!!! it was one of the best days of my life.... im working on another amazing video for you as i write this, and seeing this video just serves as more inspiration from an amazing candidate and his amazing campaign staff, keep up the great work guys!! GRAVEL 2008
With Ron Paul soon to drop out of the race, I hope Ron Paul takes some of that money he got running for president and uses it to put on the debate that should of happened a long time ago with Mike Gravel and Ron Paul, not for the sake of winning or losing but for the people that NEED to know whats at stake this election. Gravel 08!
This is not about Reps or Dems. It's about voting for a candidate that is not corrupted. You got Clinton on the Dem side, she's the female cheney, you also got Obama who is as fascist as Bush. So it's not a question of Red or Blue.
Doesn't matter who's republican or democrat this three men are the most honest public servents I've ever hear speak!!It's a shame the rest of the country doesn't think so..I respect Gravel, Kucinich and Paul and I think the world would be a better place with people like that in office..
Gravel is 100% right on everything especially on being though, and everyone who saw the early debates would agree with me.
If you haven't noticed Ron Paul in every Rep. debate let himself be bullied numerous of times by his corrupted colleges. Plus R. Paul has over $40 million in contributions, and he's already thinking about dropping out. I'm telling you he's won the lottery.
Dennis Kucinich didn't say anything when Gravel was excluded from the debates and he didn't endorse Gravel either
lol- "He's already thinking about dropping out"? Where did you get that piece of misinformation? From the MSM? From Gravel2008? Here's his most recent campaign update (2/11/08). He's not dropping out, nor even thinking about it. We're steaming ahead.
And from R. Pauls site you can see he shrunk the size of his national campaign.
Plus McCain is the R. Nominee for the Republican party, its sick, but that's just the way it is. Ron Paul has no change as a Rep. If he doesn't run as an independent then he's as good as out.
He hasn't quit the race. Just go to his website at: w w w.ronpaul2008.c o m
Mr. Gravel is NOT a Senator, he's a former Senator who left office 30 years ago. So, I'll address him appropriately as Mr. Gravel, Mike, or Gravel since he is no longer in public service. Quit misleading people into thinking otherwise.
By your misguided logic, should we no longer call Ron Paul, Dr. Paul? Should he just be referred to as Representative Paul? Just because Mike is no longer a Senator, that doesn't mean he shouldn't be respected as one. By the same token, just because Ron Paul is no longer practicing medicine does not mean he isn't/wasn't a doctor.
Once you become Senator, you retain that title even after you have left/retired in the same way as former presidents are always addressed as President/Mr. President. That's just the way it goes and I don't think that it is misleading at all. (some of us learned about this in our high school civics course).
Dude. Gravel should run as an independent he has nothing in common with this corrupted democratic party, plus he will get more votes as an independent.
Yeah, right. Mike could actually have some hope, if had some gas. He's got no petrol for his "race car", no delegates (excuse me, according to you, one), no campaign financing (just how much cash-on-hand does he have available to run his non-existent "campaign"?), 0% of the vote so far, and no demonstrable grassroots support. So where's all this "hope for America" that he offers?
Then you haven't studied Dr. Paul's positions or plans if that's what you think -- and I'd advise everyone to do so before voting. Which "Constitutional Experts" exactly are working on NI4D? It doesn't have a prayer. See:
We the People v. United States
Docketed: November 26, 2007 Lower Ct: U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit
Case No.: 05-5359
and tell me the NI4D has a chance after reviewing THAT. The last ten words of the 1st Amendment have been revoked.
NI4D is no more of a pipe dream than Paul's getting rid of the Federal Reserve.
For either of these things to happen, the president must use the power of the bully pulpit to galvanize the public. The public then has to React - Loudly!
Gravel has said that if in 6mos the public did not get behind the NI4D - he would quit.
Both men have important messages, but change will only come about by revolution and revolution doesn't happen until people are desperate.
That is soo true, and I'm starting to realize that. Mike Gravel is one of the toughest fighters, and I salute him for that. He hasn't given up on us yet. Dennis Kucinich gave up, Ron Paul has some thoughts about giving up.
I have tried and I will continue to try to sway Democrats to you, you are the best chance we've got, someone who doesn't give up. Cinderella Analogy is very good, tough times, yet Gravel has always been there. We'd probably still be in Vietnam if it weren't for you, thanx +5
Times have changed since the '70s. And that "slogan" wasn't created by your campaign, so I'm not "stealing" it. Do you have a copyright on it? Oh, but I forgot, this is political speech, not commercial speech and I derive no profit from that speech. Therefore, it's public domain.
daisym555 YES please enlighten us... Too little too late? wth does that mean? The time is now no matter ho you slice it. Too late would be Ron Paul TALKING about the same things for nearly 30 years yet he's done little to nothing. Not a man of action. Please enlighten us. We're all ears
Yep, too little too late. With a "plan" that doesn't work, and has no hope of being accepted nor enforced by the Federal Courts, requires 60 MILLION signatures just to get "the process" started, and "promises" Fed Initiatives far into the future? Quite a plan. Where has Gravel been for the past 30 years? What has he been actively doing to stop the war before he started his run for President? What has he done over the past 30 yrs to change anything? Paul's actively opposed the war IN CONGRESS.
Gravel has put in 10yrs and all of his own money into trying to devise the best plan to empower the citizen, something our over-hyped founding fathers sold us out on.
Gravel was one of the first people to publically speak out against the Iraq war before it started on NBC.
When he spoke out about the Senate vote on Iran during a debate, he was never invited to another.
This is what I'm really sick of hearing. RP supporters with tunnel vision that know little to nothing about Mike Gravel, his history in government and politics, his stance on the issues and plans to their regard or NI4D. Asking ridiculous questions that they would know if they took the time to fully research all of the candidates before spewing their uninformed opinions and deeming it as bible. AND do the math, 60 million is 17% of the population. You think that's impossible?!?!
1st MG-One man Filibuster in '71, causing the expiration of the draft in '73 and preventing any future draft; meaning Bush Sr./ Jr. couldn't put more troops on the ground in their oil wars saving countless lives. I think that's pretty damn significant. He has effortlessly been pushing his party to stop the funding for the war and its continuation whether it be Iraq or Iran. What has RP done? Voted y or n talked/no action. Has he offered an actual plan? A viable plan in writing? Show me
2nd- MG ended nuclear testing and strongly opposed any effort to overturn his initiative therein. 3rd MG risked his life, risked being arrested and thrown in jail to expose the corruption in gvnmnt by personally reading into record the Pentagon Papers and subsequent publication thereof. MG has CALLED UPON CONGRESS OVER AND OVER to specifically stop any more funds to be appropriated for the war, said it is unconstitutional and CONGRESS is weak on this. RP in office MG isn't/he has no powers

He's got no petrol for his "race car", no delegates (excuse me, according to you, one), no campaign financing (just how much cash-on-hand does he have available to run his non-existent "campaign"?), 0% of the vote so far, and no demonstrable grassroots support. So where's all this "hope for America" that he offers?
daisym555 4 years ago
Its going to come from Ron Paul himself and you his supporters when he and you realize that his name won't even be on the ballot in November.

The last ten words of the 1st Amendment have been revoked.
daisym555 4 years ago
NI4D is no more of a pipe dream than Paul's getting rid of the Federal Reserve.
For either of these things to happen, the president must use the power of the bully pulpit to galvanize the public. The public then has to React - Loudly!
Gravel has said that if in 6mos the public did not get behind the NI4D - he would quit.
Both men have important messages, but change will only come about by revolution and revolution doesn't happen until people are desperate.

LOL we should offer a 21 gun salute to the Paul campaign. It just died.
TRUEADONIS 4 years ago
That is soo true, and I'm starting to realize that. Mike Gravel is one of the toughest fighters, and I salute him for that. He hasn't given up on us yet. Dennis Kucinich gave up, Ron Paul has some thoughts about giving up.
I have tried and I will continue to try to sway Democrats to you, you are the best chance we've got, someone who doesn't give up. Cinderella Analogy is very good, tough times, yet Gravel has always been there. We'd probably still be in Vietnam if it weren't for you, thanx +5

Yeah, I've read it. Want me to explain to you
1) why it won't work?
2) Why it's a bad plan?
3) why it promises way too little way to late?
Times have changed since the '70s. And that "slogan" wasn't created by your campaign, so I'm not "stealing" it. Do you have a copyright on it? Oh, but I forgot, this is political speech, not commercial speech and I derive no profit from that speech. Therefore, it's public domain.
daisym555 4 years ago
daisym555 YES please enlighten us... Too little too late? wth does that mean? The time is now no matter ho you slice it. Too late would be Ron Paul TALKING about the same things for nearly 30 years yet he's done little to nothing. Not a man of action. Please enlighten us. We're all ears
damianpaonejazz 4 years ago
Yep, too little too late. With a "plan" that doesn't work, and has no hope of being accepted nor enforced by the Federal Courts, requires 60 MILLION signatures just to get "the process" started, and "promises" Fed Initiatives far into the future? Quite a plan. Where has Gravel been for the past 30 years? What has he been actively doing to stop the war before he started his run for President? What has he done over the past 30 yrs to change anything? Paul's actively opposed the war IN CONGRESS.
daisym555 4 years ago

You think that's impossible?!?!
damianpaonejazz 4 years ago
1st MG-One man Filibuster in '71, causing the expiration of the draft in '73 and preventing any future draft; meaning Bush Sr./ Jr. couldn't put more troops on the ground in their oil wars saving countless lives. I think that's pretty damn significant. He has effortlessly been pushing his party to stop the funding for the war and its continuation whether it be Iraq or Iran. What has RP done? Voted y or n talked/no action. Has he offered an actual plan? A viable plan in writing? Show me
damianpaonejazz 4 years ago
2nd- MG ended nuclear testing and strongly opposed any effort to overturn his initiative therein. 3rd MG risked his life, risked being arrested and thrown in jail to expose the corruption in gvnmnt by personally reading into record the Pentagon Papers and subsequent publication thereof. MG has CALLED UPON CONGRESS OVER AND OVER to specifically stop any more funds to be appropriated for the war, said it is unconstitutional and CONGRESS is weak on this. RP in office MG isn't/he has no powers
