All makes a lot of sense. Many don't really understand what DST is all about or why it works in some areas and not others. The closer you are to the equator the less useful it becomes. East/west position in your time zone also has an impact. Queensland, Australia (non-DST) is a pain particularly on the border as New South Wales has DST. It would be great to have in one part of the state but not the rest, but where to draw the line? I doubt a solution will ever be found.
I love Daylight Saving Time. Okay since it begins march 13 i will give u the sunrise and sunset time:
Sunrise: 7:12 AM
Sunset: 7:06 AM
Now i will give u yesterday's comparison
March 12:
Sunrise: 6:13 AM
Sunset: 6:05 PM
So, in my opinion daylight saving time is better. i hate standard time why dont we just get rid of standard time it sucks. i would much rather have 1 extra hour of daylight in the evening than in the morning.
this is all bullshit listen from 4:12 to 4:28......the governments want ppl to work one hour extra every time we change the timeeeee
imagine ppl around the whole world work an hour extra for their government...who is gonna gain on that? ppl? or the governments? ppl wont notice an hour changing but think about it/ and we change the time at nights not our working time :) think about itt this is all crapppppp
The farmer argument is utter nonsense. Farmers are going to farm when the sun is up, regardless of what the damn clock says. The energy argument is harder to make than it used to because we live in more of a 24/7 world than ever before. Cars are on the road all hours of the day. But DST still makes sense for the vast majority of people who live their waking lives from 6 am to midnight.
I love DST, the sun comes up later in lthe morning and I (*and my kids) will sleep later. And I love staying up in the summer drinking wine in the back until 9h30 at night when the sun starts going down. We should use DST all fecking year long.
I don't care, I work hard and I like to go out for a jog at night in the summertime. I'd rather have an extra hour of light to do it in then pitch black.

The biggest problem is that it fades the curtains and confuses the cows.

I thought it was about the standard time and the way the daytime extended unilaterally....
But I didn't have to change a clock for the first 20 years of my life so meh...
