the UP Pep Squad "fiesta-themed" performance this year was fabulous, but this 2008 performance of theirs was ASTIG, its my favorite entry ng UP, strong on almost all points and love their choreography, the tribal theme and the show of strength and agility ng both women and men cheerdancers. looking forward in UP taking its 7th title next year :-)

in fairness, nagtataka ako kung bakit nanalo ang up ngayong year. Marami bang pinagbawalan na routines ngayong cheerdance? Di hamak na mas maganda yung performance nila noong 2008 kaysa ngayon. Parang playing safe sila this year, kulang pa ng "oomph." Sa bagay, baka kailangan palaging winner for the most number of loses ang UP sa basketball para bumawi sa cheerdance so that history will always keep repeating itself :D

Ang alam ko may summer training talaga, If my source is right, Sari Campos from Ateneo BBB (2009 Samsung Stunner) ay nag train under UP PEP, but she decided to enroll in Ateneo instead of UP...should you wish to join the Pep MrRenz1113, may audition sila every start of the academic year, kung pasado ka na sa UPCAT madali na lang yan, btw seryoso ka ba talaga?

Hi, obviously you need to be a UP Student, mas maganda kung UP Diliman ka kung saan naka base ang PEP, every academic year nag papa audition ang PEP para sa mga gustong maka pasok.

TOSSES- 2 toe-touch, 2 back-tuck over, 4 full-twisting layout, 2 layout, 2 double spin, 1 front-tuck to x-out over,1 x-out full, 1 x-out, 1 kick-double

PARTNER STUNT/S- full extension, tick-tock

TUMBLES/PASS- cartwheel to back walk, round off to double back hand spring, round off to whip buck/buck tuck, round off to back hand spring to full twist

PYRAMIDS- very unique and craetive

I'm form FEU, and I am so proud of last year's Feu cheering squad's perfomance.

UP totally deserve it! Even though I'm not from UP, the UP Pep squad made everyone proud, not just the name of UP but the blood of a filipino that makes us all stand out.

Please no haters - every school did their best, and if you got nothing nice to say, keep it to yourself, giving trashy judgemental criticism is not constructive criticism.

actually owby84... kung di lang nasira yung final pyramid ng FEU sa routine nila malakas ang chances na naging 1st runner-up sila... FEU's routine was far better than USTe's nung 2008...so was Adamson's...even NU's nga e, naglevel up sila galing...sooooooobrang nag play safe ang USTe...too safe, from the looks of it...but all boils down to this september...GOOD LUCK SA LAHAT NG SQUADS!!!
