Didn't have to hear this from Sister Sister or Beverly Hills Cop 3 because I have two awesome parents with amazing taste in music who introduced me to so very much . And as I grew older , I expanded my golden oldies library of music on my own . But wherever you heard it is fine .
Just returned from Baltimore, first trip to the great American east coast. This song was playing in the airport. Diana Ross is among the best singers to ever reach the No. 1 spot on the charts.
@CrackWarrior I know, I heard this from Beverly Hills Cop 3 - not Sister, Sister. I just love the scene where the guys in the garage are singing this! :) It is such funny movie.
Wow! Memories are apic. I remember my mom playing this song & many more. My childhood memories are wonderful/good music & talent. Life was so simple then. Have mercy with us all with todays' times.
Hi Suede,I see your name is Suede and not Sue.Sorry about that. You are 17?That's how old I was when this song was released in 1964.Their 3rd consecutive #1 since July of that year.I first heard it when they appeared on Shindig that year. They first sang Baby Love, which had reached it's peak and was on it's way back down.It was the first time I saw them on television.
Seriously 1 dislike???? This is one of those songs ther even if you're a fan of goth, emo, metal, rap, classical, anything you're a fan of. This is just a fantastic oldie and I hope that this kind of music will come back in my lifetime. I'll be cool with not having to see 50 cent and soulja boy on the cover or any magazine.
I nominate this song for the honour of most perfect pop song ever written. A few songs have come close, but this wins it for me. It has all the right ingredients of a good pop track: A catchy melody, an irresistible singalong quality, it doesn't drag on too long with excessive chorus repeats like some songs, and superb production as we always got from Motown's golden years - the mix of vocals and instrumentation is just right, without one dominating the other. Absolute perfection.
whereufrom513, u stupid jackass where do you think sister sister got the song from?! Appreciate the classics r dont comment at all, who cares about sister sister music, this is one of the most phenomenal songs ever!
Probably my favorite Supreme "Classic" and its the first time Mary and Flo get to sing more diverse back-ups. On Where Did Our Love Go and Baby Love they were saying the same things over and over.
best song ever by the Supremes. Absolute top top tune!

It's great to actually hear Mary and Florence's background vocals. In other songs they're parts are sort of muted. What a shame..

The Supremes are the greatest sister soul group of all-time.
They weren't just sexy with their looks, but they were so classical.
They made you feel so good about yourself.
Sister Flo Ballard, will always be remembered high in the skies above.
The Supremes are the babes of finger licking soul forever.
