I know everyone is entitled to their opinions. But, the people who are slamming Poison need to clean the shit out of their ears. This band fucking rocks. One of the best bands to come from that era and they are still going strong! They are still touring, as are Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, and many other "hair bands" that prove they still have relevance and longevity in the music world. The 2011 Poison tour is going to be epic, I cannot wait!

In the US alone Poisons 1st 3 albums were multi platinum (they have released 10 so far) and also have had 6 top 10 singles, while i agree they are not as prolific as other bands they are also not a "1 hit wonder" and btw crúe only managed 2 top 10 singles and never got a number 1 so in your terms makes them closer to a "1 hit wonder"

Both of them are just a bunch of one-hit wonders.. Warrant and Cinderella can join the list too.. Bon Jovi put up some great stuff but it can't be compared to Appetite at all.. Skid Row put out a good album, but then again, can't be compared...

And even that stupid song is like a piece of shit compared to GnR's weakest ballad

@Mordor6121512 music taste is subjective and your entiled to your view but calling poison a "1hit wonder" just shows you have a badly constructed argument. In the US alone Poisons 1st 3 albums were multi platinum (they have released 10 so far) and also have had 6 top 10 singles, while i agree they are not as prolific as other bands they are also not a "1 hit wonder" and btw crúe only managed 2 top 10 singles and never got a number 1 so in your terms makes them closer to a "1 hit wonder"

I'd rather listen to songs like Looks That Kill, Shout At The Devil, Home Sweet Home, Girls Girls Girls, Wild Side, Kickstart My Heart and Without You over shitty and stupid songs like Every Rose Has Its Thorn or Nothin But A Good Time.. Geez those are the only Poison songs I know..

@Mordor6121512 poisons 3 highest album potions were were 2 - 2 - 3 and crúe are 1 - 2 - 6 so if your going on chart potions then poisons win on average alos crúe only had 1 album do more than 4* platinum which was Dr feelgood good on 6 * plat so that makes them uber winners? hardly a dark side of the moon or even a thriller... you also say crúe had more hit singles but as i stated previously poison had 6 top 10 and crúe only had 2 top 10 so im not sure how your maths works there tbh

You do not like Poison which is obviously your perogative but that dosnt make them a fail band as facts and figures say otherwise. If your truly into music, what the guys did, or look like means shit! Its the music they put ot. They are a awesome band and their songs are great. I have over 3567 songs stored on my computer and its because of the songs not the politics of their band. Lifes to short to judge everybody. Just listen to what you enjoy and give credit for the song and move on. Who gives a shit where they come from or what their life is. It doesn't change the music you love.

I love music from many genres, such as Acoustic/Folk, Ambient, Soundscape, Pop Punk, Death Metal, Thrash, Heavy Metal, Hair Metal, Hard,Classi Rock, Old School Rap, Progressive,Psychadelic and Classical. I guess i cant say they are my favorite band but they are certainly my favorite hair metal band. If you dont like Poison, thats cool, everyone has their own taste in music and im certainly not going to judge.
