  • his bitting is all play , your fingers are like toys to him

you may change his bitting to sniffing with a treat inside your fist , no fingers no bite

try this little game with him when he gets excited , not good seclusion "jail"

hope this helps you my friend

  • @YoshiTheShiba Thanks for commenting and the advice! I actually only do this when he bites like crazy and he is super hyper. He'll get hyperactive when I say "NO BITING" sometimes...like he knows he's not supposed to bite but he does it anyway. He's smart and sometimes, I think he knows what I'm going to do. hahah

He is very gentle on his nibbling now! NO BITING works if I pretend to be hurt. He is such a good boy :)

  • @L0VESC my shiba bites gently to play too. Shiba's are a mouthy breed. Best thing you can do is pretend to be hurt, get up, walk away and ignore him (means no eye contact) for a few minutes then go play with him again. Sounds like you're doing good so far :)
