I was there...was awesome..best party ever!! I tried to spot myself but couldn't, but I did in Skyyjohn's vid. Met my girlfriend on that night too.. Was living in Thailand for 6 months, just came back to Oz...Best time of my life...my 19th birthday was only a week before this party too!! Was my best birthday ever too.. Made loads of good friends while I was in Thailand..

Does anyone know if there are late night ferries during FMP that leave Koh Phangan to Koh Samui... Lets say we are staying at Koh Samui and want to leave FMP @ like 3-4am.

@PBeear Er, the ferry schedule stops around 3am I think, but then resumes at about 7.30 or 8.00am the next day. In my opinion, just stick it out till the sun's up or you're still missing out :D

naaah... theres no entry fee. As long as you can get there, get accommodation and do err.. whatever you would normally do at a party. Then find a way to last all nite! ;-} Once you make the pilgrimmage, its just a countdown till you go again. I went Xmas 07, still counting down, will be there b4 Xmas '10!

@rochelledavies not sure about the new years eve, but as i was in thailand 1 week ago locals said the entry is 100 bath. i couldnt go to the full moon party, but i was at the half moon festival. the entry was 500 bath. thais say its so exspensive cause of local mafia. but to my experience really good trance and goa u find in smaller less commercial parties. full moon, half moon and blackmoon play rather popular-taste music. even lady gaga and "the rythm of the night" remixes. gross
