  • i cant wait to train in shiolen

  • @curtis27753

How are you able to train :D I thought they didnt train people who arent asian :[

  • @VECTOR812 some master accept outsiders and if you want to get in the real shoalin temple you have to change your passpord to chinese that means you have to know evrything about buddism

  • @PkzMoonWalker

WHOA O.O that will be very hard to fully do, hm, but its REALLY worth the training. sigh, sometimes being a atheist has its drawbacks for me :[ i can never learn shaolin from the real masters

  • Swedish subtitles! (yay)

  • holy christ!!!!

  • @Jetstar3000 who is christ?

  • J'aime tros le kung fu tros da Si!si les chinois avec vos teknique tellement fort on dirait des dieu aller Go!go les chinois

  • This was .........AWESOME!!!!!!

  • 4 tattooed and drunk mma fans dont see that this is what martial arts is all about.

  • @abusamir yeah critising other people is all about martial arts ;-)

  • Bad ass I fucking love chinks

  • lol 90's videogame soundtrack

  • Sweeping the floor for dust LIKE A BOSS

  • @ 1:26 seconds what weapons were thoes

  • He put the bowl on his legs to make sure he didn't raise from that stance... That's crazy. I feel his pain. These guys must become a beast if they were ever back into a corner. This is extreme training. A way of life.

  • Sweden :3

  • lol shovel? broom?, ... it could be handle if i´d work in sanitary department :D ...but i these guys have my respect ..i attend kung fu :)

  • @choyleefutkid1 I fully understand that. However they should show how effective there training is. All this flashy moves breaking boards and rocks is not impressive. And I'm not sayin this to hate I always felt Kung fu is the oldest and encyclopedic when it comes to combat. But even with all that knowledge sometimes its useless in a real fight. So they should show a real fight. Not to discredit them. And Shaolin Kung fu may be effective but it does not come close to Kung Fu.

  • Killing with one strike is really not as easy as it sounds even for a master martial artist. Maybe a few in a thousand attempts will work. (Okay okay.. I'm not basing this on any kind of research.)

Also, I've always liked Shaolin, but I also think the kung fu we see from them today is not made for fighting. Maybe they do practice practical things too, we just don't get to see it. Maybe in less commercial temples?

  • @choyleefutkid1 Its quite the opposite its being open minded...And I don't hate I see there training is tough but I'd just like to see all that in a real fight.

  • 666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666 push ups everyday

  • cara e numero da besta

  • Does anyone know what documentary this is from? I would really like to watch the full thing.

  • All that fancy stuff but put 1 of these guys up against anyone. I see a lot of special effects but ive never seen them spar with a regular fighter let alone another martial artist.

  • I like Japan more than China, but kung fu is the best fight EVER!

  • or just water

  • is it hot water

  • what a waste of water -.-

  • wheres my money water?! (slap!)

  • Guns dont kill people, brooms kill people

  • Why must I be a girl and not Asian

  • @Bagel156 wing chun is for u!

  • @MsDumnut to bad i live in an extremely small town

  • @Bagel156 haha, same yet i practice aikido :)

  • looks like 3 people couldnt blow out the candle

  • Homer SImpsons "doo" @ 3:05 haha

  • why did he do that to the guy at 2:14

  • @WillFiordalisi It means that he has to move his leg down flat enough to keep the bowl steady which it's pretty painful to do, even though it look simple to most = I

  • @AOVengeance well duh i know that. But he didnt make any of the other stidents do it! only that one guy!

  • @WillFiordalisi Well then it's pretty simple, makes it more harder right harder right, it could happend to anyone. Either that it's something else = )

  • @WillFiordalisi

he did that cause that one guy was doing really good. he increased difficulty...

  • @pjayman123 thank u, the answer ive been waiting for :D i was hoping some1 else was thinking the same

  • @WillFiordalisi

    for a better horse stance

  • @rmwua okay let me rephrase, why did he do that to only ONE of the monks and not all of them o.O

  • @WillFiordalisi

    oww in that way xD

    ... I dunno :O

  • @WillFiordalisi by putting the cup in the monks leg it will make it's base better and he won't fall very easily

  • perfect candidates for special forces

  • Comment removed

  • i loved kung fu!

  • Why are there often Swedish stubitles on clips? Kul!

  • 3 people will never know what it's like to beat a bandit with a broom...

  • @jturnbullj 4 people now

  • horse stance 2 huors!! in 2 minutes my legs alredy burning

  • I want to learn more about kung fu

  • damn, intense.

  • 3 people are jerks

  • i wouldn't play with that shovel if i where you

  • now thats what i call hardcore sweeping with a broom lol

  • 1:00 what if someone cut someone else?

  • @aznboy3213 they use training weapons, they dont cut

  • @shaogalda oh but that still hurts

  • Damn... horse stance for 2 hours. I do kung fu in my spare time and when I do stance training I can barely hold it for 2 min.

  • @Fretz1987 In the shaolin I'm joining, they are doing 5 minutes worth of it after constant other stances like cat stance and other stances, holding all of them for similiar lengths in time. So it's harder than 5 minutes and that's first month class. Then other stuff training. I watched a full grown man cry but do it successfully. But 2 hours -.-

This is the reason why I'm starting capoeira aswell to get conditioning.

  • Kung fu is only fysic training, they dont fight/spar each other,so they dont develop sparring tecniqs.

  • @baasbovenbaass Sparring and tournaments aren't real fighting.

  • @LightxKira5643

    Doooh.

But its the best way for preparing for battle.

  • @baasbovenbaass No it's not, you need EVERYTHING.

  • and here i tot muay thai is extreme

  • I think I am going to focus on doing this and dedicate my time and life to these arts.

  • 2:10 Crouch, crouch, you don't wanna crouch, then take this bawl right there! hahahah!

  • id like to see these mma guys do that kind of training

  • the monk at 2:20 got boneddd

  • @harukohayashi - Are you seriously questioning the Shaolin monks? Are you seriously questioning people who have devoted their entire life to this? In case you didn't notice, this is Kung Fu, not Karate. A candle, not a body. The goal is to extinguish the candle, when this is achieved it means the maximum amount of force is achieved.

  • Continued: military training.

  • @harukohayashi There are Japanese claims that karate was formed from Kung Fu. Believe it or not many of Japanese traditions, and the language itself, comes from China. How strongly worded your message was put tells me this might not satisfy you. In any case martial arts is not defined as an art but

  • 4:20...WTF...That punch is a dropping punch right? Karate's best punch which can destroy an entire body...But the way they punch like that is so wrong..:(

I'm not criticizing them but, it's not supposed to be like that..I can't explain it by words, but I can show it in a video if I have the time..

  • @harukohayashi It is different, it's similar with dropping punch, but it's not same. However, there is no wrong or right in arts n culture, they punch it like that, maybe you just not use to look the dropping punch done with that way, but that's their way, it's not wrong. That's just not the dropping punch used in karate.

  • Wow that plaguedgoat guy loves to suck the UFC's dick. It's awesome how he only knows Royce's ... I can break an arm if all the rule's allow me to do is hug the dude till submission. I would love to see a un- UFC fight with a Sifu and get his ass whooped

  • man, they can sweep the fuckin shit out of a floor XD

  • I got tried this. I took three shoes and balance one on my head, and two on my hands. (they were nice leather shoes, and they were heavy...) I stood still like that for 10 minutes, my whole body was trembling for the last 2 minutes. Tomorrow I'll try for 11!

  • @JakeLWright and they do 2 hours lol.

  • @AnimexWarrior You're an idiot. Did you ever watch the first UFC events? kung fu "masters" get their asses handed to them by Boxers, Wrestlers, and of course Royce Gracie, who broke a "masters" arm.

  • They are overtrained, you must leave the body some time to replenish its power and to gain strength. These People might have hard hands and be fast but they aren't very strong ok they don't have to because they feel almost no pain at all but this way they will damage theirselfs till total self destruction is the goal.

    Old Shaolin does not exist.

  • I need this type of training and pain! Looks challenging, fun, and rewarding.

  • yay i practiced horse stance for my kung fu and i can hold it paralel for 5 minutes :D now to get it longer

  • someday, i will train in this way.... i will die then too

  • Man, that master who moved the bowl from the head to the leg was evil...in an awesome "I'm gonna train the hell out of you" kinda way.

  • People don't realize that you can only train like this when you are young. Most of these guys will be complete cripples by the time they are 60 because of all the punishment their bodies have taken through training earlier in life.

  • nuh

  • @HermannTheGreat obviously you have never gone to a shaolin monks presentention.... they make one from time to time.... (of course more often in china, but sometimes one of their selected groups go out to other countries for exhibitions)... and there are 70 years old monks... their are not agile like the young ones but their are more agile and flexible than the majority of 20 year old man in the world... they can even do 1 and 2 finger zen...

  • @HermannTheGreat giving your body "punishment" early in life equals a strong healthy body when youre older. eating like a pig, and watching TV all day does not feel like punishment but later in life it will be....

  • @NECC94 yeah that's right.

  • @NECC94 BEASTLY SAID!

  • @HermannTheGreat This is the same old ignorant rhetoric I hear time n time again. If you have a good Sifu who teaches the balance between hard n soft qigong n teaches applicatio of Dit da jow (iron strike wine) they will not suffer at all in old age as a result of conditioning. Do proper ressearch - find a good sifu n question him thoroughly and you'll find that what I've said is true. Maybe you've had a bad experience with a poor Sifu?

  • unfortunately, these days we see a lot of clowns pretending to be monks and doing carnival tricks, and many think that the real martial arts of shaolin have dissapeared, but actually it still exists, the tough shaolin kung fu still exists, you have to train it hard enough, for example those horse stances will make your legs like iron, but it a torture to train them, so i say to people unless you have the balls to torture yourself like this, dont critisize shaolin kung fu.

  • i trained shaolin style . i started at 12. i was the only girl in my class and they did not make any acceptions for me. the dedication and hard work that you put into your training will benefit you ten fold.i had to stop after 2 yrs when money got tight.im 25 now and remember everything i learned .i live in a bad neighborhood,my neighbors throat was slit last week, kids shoot each other all the time here.my sifus teachings may save my life some day. theres no comparrison to shaolin its hardcore.

  • 0:43 wonder what would happen if this guy went to the fastest sweeping tournament...

  • @AKAbreakBoy he would probably sweep the bricks off the floor lol

  • This is a Very hard way to train but the Best! im training Kung fu From Kim Son Quang family. To stand that way if you do itt right you will feel like dying. seriusly but after a year you dont feel it

  • That's how I sweep when I break out the broom, lol.

  • Wow lol just try'd the punching newspaper training Ex only managed 2 do it 4 6mins, lol and they do it 4 2hours? Insane

  • Shaolin is amazing. i hate the douchebag narator though.... if you watch the entire show he says 'at least one hour a day' or 'two hours everyday' and there ends up being over 24 hours in a day of just training. Its horseshlt...

  • im so going to practice this at home

  • SHAOLIN kung fu vs MMA

  • @Shelob88 MMA HAHAHA!!! MMA SUCK ONE PUNCH FROM SHAOLIN TO MMA FIGHTER AND THE FIGHTER DEATH, BELIEVE IT!!!

  • i didn't know shuvel was a good weapon

  • Definitely HARDCORE TRAINING, mma is got nothing on SHAOLIN.

  • to use a art that trains to defeat people who are taught to kill, without killing them... is indeed a powerful martial art

  • This people dont train to kill lol, they train for sports which is sanda ,and they fight like any other sanda fighter, after all sanda is also sports, not to kill. U guys got it wrong lol

  • the second guy they show is probably the best sweeper ive seen lol

  • In the end, it isn't about whether your training is traditional or modern. It all comes down to 2 things really:

    1. How intense is the training. Many tradiitonal and modern MA schools are crap-house, with students not being pushed to toughen up and develop realt skill or conditioning.

    2. Does your style cultivate you as a person, mind body and soul/emotional side? If it does not lead to your betterment in these areas, well ...

  • I think the whole modern vs traditional MA thing is based on insecurity, on both sides. Modern countries and fighting styles are resentful of the respect that traditional styles have, due to centureies, if not millenia of history they possess.

Traditional styles are resentful of modern ones, due to the fact that they are marketed as more efficient, and as a result pose a threat to their continuation, ending the preservation of such beautiful fighting culture.

  • That's not a Horse Stance, it's a Back Stance

They must do this a total of 2 hrs a day, but not necessarily all at once (e.g., 20 min here, 30 min there for a total of 2hrs)

  • @SamiRaMaati It's si ping ma ( having a stablilty like a horse with 4 legs), also known as ma bu (horse stance)

  • @SamiRaMaati

Named differently sometimes. Both are literally the same thing.

  • I have huge respect for these guys but look at 1:31, the horse stance.Thethingthe narrator says that this is reserved for the elite ofthe elite, andnot even any ofthem there did it properly, their stances are kinda wrong and u can clearly c extreme pain in their faces andthey are expected to do it for 2 hrs straight?Again i tink they do it in sets or so,1-2 hours straight is impossible. My sifu say 2 hrs st8 is not true these days. And belive me im in KF,vids just say this to make them look badass.

  • 2 hours ?! lol i think the do it and rest, and do it again till it totals up to 2 hours . Its kinda impossible to do it for 2 hrs straight seriosly, the lactic build up is huge and no matter how strong u are, the brain sends signals(neuro transmitters)to the legs to stop fuctioning ,or else the leg muscles will teara or worse. 1-2 hours straight? maybe in sets,im not here to fight or argue wif anyone , but 2 hours is kinda bullshit. The longest known was 30min so far. Respect though xD

  • @MechPhantom Well that's why they meditate. My Dai Gee did 1 HOUR straight after weapon forms and empty hand forms. Plus 4 matches with sifus. And the whole time he just focused on his breath. It was insane! But my sifu has done 1:30+ so I'm sure its possible for some.

  • @leo7martinez Hmm i dont know whether to believe u or not ,but its cool lol, but yea no offense but im the type of person that needs some proof before i believe some 1. Its like this i can say that americans invented kung fu without proof and every 1 believes me,i hope u undersand thx man for ur sharing.

  • @MechPhantom Oh yeah dude I'm the same way. I didn't believe either of them till I saw one testing. Hopefully one day you'll see it, it's a trip!

  • @leo7martinez So they can do it for real or what? and what did u mean by one testinG? thx

  • @MechPhantom Yeah I mean I honestly don't expect you to believe me cause its a difficult thing. And testing to check up on skills and their cardio and stamina

  • @leo7martinez Btw thx for ur reply thoguh. but i doubt it is possible to do it 2 hours, not evewn 30 mins lol haha, so yea all i/we need is proof, such as a 2 hour continuous video of them doing it then i will believe it.Nevertheless respect to them. see ya bro thx again

  • their horse stance is horrible. and the training methods were a bit off

  • Imagine getting killed by a broomstick...

  • 2 hours in horse stance (zha ma) is killer. your quads would hurt , cant imagine what their arms feel like.

  • @danpt2000 2 minutes in horse stance is bad enough, especially in a low horse. The trick seems to be relaxation, but I'm a long way off that, I'm still in the "ouch that hurts" and "walk like I've wet myself the next day" stage...

  • @danpt2000 2 hours?...try this stand 20 minutes and you'll be amazed how painfull it is;)

  • I went to shaolin kung fu lesson gotr hooked on it the trainig is reallyy hectic hanstand as a basic warm up exercise it is good though for your body and mind.

  • @Knowledgeseeker12 COOL how long must u do for the handstand? thx , if u can explianm more pls do i wANNA learn more of shaolin XD. Btw ur in shaolin rite? theser days i heard that shaolin is more like modern wushu and acrobatic shit rite? very rare pure shaolin arts. Its dat true?? thx again

  • cant believe how many shaolin masters there are on youtube. i feel blessed to be in the same cyberspace as all you devine incarnations. LMAO

  • At least the monks respect each other and work together rather then fighting with each other.

Shaolin Kung Fu is about discipline, respect, and honor not on violence and brute strength. It's a true fighting style that separates itself from MMA and UFC.

UFC and boxer's good at fighting one on one but if i came down to 200 monks vs 200 UFC fighters fat chance for the UFC fighters they don't have the discipline to work together either.

  • ufc and boxing both fails because it limits you, boxing doesnt allow you to use the legs (fail)

ufc doesnt allow strikes to the eyes or to any pressure points

and yes pressure points are real, but it takes years and years of practice to master

  • @dynastyflygon You've been watching way too many movies and cartoons. Sorry to destroy your fantasy, but an MMA fighter or Boxer would destroy these fakes

  • @PlagueRiddenGoat bravo, good job for having no life and browsing through like 10 pages of comments and replying to a comment i made 1 year ago

anyways, mma and boxer guys dont train to kill

    these guys do

the first thing they teach you in any kind of kung fu is just aim for the eyes or groin

boxing and mma, the first thing they teach you is, no hitting the groin or eyes or any other sensitive body parts

  • @PlagueRiddenGoat waaat?? are u on crack??? to these guys fighting comes naturally and its a way of life for them. i aint taking anything away from a MMA fighter or anything its jus that these guys are naturally better fighters

  • It's always ridiculous to see how people bicker over which art is better. What's better? A hammer or a wrench? It depends on what your job is. MMA and boxing is made for the ring and sport. For that purpose, it's excellent. Shaolin Kung Fu was developed for warfare where there are no rules and also includes use of weapons. For that purpose, it's excellent. People who are serious in practicing any martial art all have discipline, respect, and martial skill. That's the most important thing.

  • wtf these little guys want power in their punches they should take up boxing.

  • @fuxu123 boxing dont give u power, just a 6 pack and strength punches.... these guys use power and swift attacks.... u saw how they stay for 2 hours in pain excercises.... boxer will get killed against 1 of those

  • @cosminso1230 um no offense but a professional boxer can punch with more power than one of these monks. thats simply because they train for hours every day doing only one thing, punching. one of these monks would still destroy them in a fight though

  • @ukatam couldn't agree more... if a boxer fights outside the ring he or her automatically gets arrested, because 1 punch to the face will brake all ur bones in ur head :(

  • @ukatam LOL uh huh

  • damn ufc doesnt have a chance against them they should be in ufc!!!

  • @thekingofighting screw ufc its crap! they dont got honor like these guys! they respect nature... not homes like ours

  • @thekingofighting that would b intresting but all the ufc guys would get killed

  • Kung Fu is the best i started this year is the best My Master is Gold Sash it took him 17 whole years to become master i am yellow belt right now i sued to to Tae Kwon Do before as well so i knew the basics bridging the gap snap kick front kick knee level side kic the 3 bear hugs round house kick and tiger claw that move is for taking some ones eyes out if you are in a life threatning situation Kung Fu is the best

  • i wonder who will win 200 UFC figther vs all of this monks? i think 200 ufc figther will before they step on their temple lol

  • perfect Training

  • dis vdeo is awsome no fucker knows about the true power of kung fuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • shiitttt i wouldnt fuck with them hell id love to have them on my side when im fighting
