  • He made an entire nation stand in awe at his skill.

He made an entire nation smile with his antics.

He made an entire nation proud.

I fear we may never see his like in the beautiful game again.

Get well Gazza...we'd all love to see you back on the box.

  • ive been to games where gazza has been at his best and he was as good as anything you would see from messi or ronaldo today , pure genius !

  • best england has ever had.

  • genious Gazza

  • Should have gone to France 98.

When the little twat Beckham got sent off we would have had Gazza on the bench waiting to come on and inspire 10 man England to victory.

even if it did go to pens, we all know Gazza wouldn't miss one!

  • @superdan1875 gazza was left ut by hoddle for personal problems.

  • @thetoon99

Yes, but he could still have done a job for us.

Even Pele and Cruyjff thought the decision to leave him out was stupid

  • @superdan1875 well yea he could have but its not all about talent you need to have your life in check or you won't be risked for a big competion plus he took scholes so he thought he could do without gazza brining his problems instead.

  • @thetoon99

he also took david batty who came off the bench and eventually missed a pen

gazza would NEVER miss a pen

  • @superdan1875 well batty was a diffrent player from gazza it was not a case of take batty or gazza. just like today it would be say take owen or defoe because there kinda the same type you would not take both and leave out a ronney type ect.

  • @superdan1875 it seems scholes went in gazzas place.

  • @thetoon99

I'm quite sure Hoddle could have dropped Batty in favour of Gazza regardless of who took who's place.

Come on, seriously Gazza should have been in the squad mate!

  • @superdan1875 yea he should have but he was left out for off feild reason and you don't get what i meant. batty was picked even if gazza went battys job was to break up the play. so your saying leave batty at home if so who wins the ball back in midfeild.

  • @superdan1875 Since about '90, Pele also thinks that he can magically cure people of cancer by laying his hands on them. Does that make him even close to being correct on the subject?

  • @superdan1875 Gazza should have gone to WC '98 so he could do what exactly? Belch in to a mic & tell people from random countries what to do w/themselves? As in, "Yes, Fuck off, Fiji Islands!!" & this is coming from a lifelong fan of BOTH the Toon AND England, mate.

  • rangers legend....allthe best paul watp

  • Gazza we'll never forget you! Get well...

  • You said it, TwelveBells! Football didn't come home this year. However, the Italian and French fans out there must be feeling much worse.

  • Gazza, you make me cry! Why oh why was your talent wasted? You are possibly one of the finest talents ever to grace a piece of grass!

  • Knobend, but still infinitely better than, and more likable than, Fats Rooney. How come all of England's 'most naturally gifted' players are generally chronically obese and prone to temperament lapses?

  • man he was fast he should of gone to world cup 98 hes talent was amazing fit or not fit he would of been are best player

  • @simonheart007

    'our' best player, 'our'

  • This vid brought tears to my eyes. I hope the upcoming world cup, starting tomorrow, will give us the same magic as Gazza once did!

    Go England!

  • @rattata123 struggling to imagine how your disappointment could have been more complete (if you'd been an Italy fan I suppose?)

  • @rattata123 gazza puts any player today to shame with that talent he had!!

  • Great video.

  • I'll never forget the day he turned up at Ibrox to 20,000 fans and the amazing skills he showed in red white and blue. He was and is Simply The Best.

  • gifted

  • special special special.

  • gave me the best day of my life gazza hat-trick against the sheep fuking legend no surrender gazza

  • Haha yeah right.

  • natural football genius,up there with the likes of pele, maradonna, ronaldo "brazil",bagio, romario, berghamp, henry and of course another legend big alan shearer.

  • legend

  • WOW this gives me goosebumps AMAZING!

  • He might be daft and wont ever grow up, but to me and my brother he was superman growing up in the 90´s and made us and many others very happy.

  • legend

  • genius

  • Legend

  • This is a really good vid! Very well done! No Techno track! Very well!

  • gazza is the best player in the world is a good player ;

a mix funny and tecnic of football

    bye gazza

  • Gazza the old madman! Always fun watching him, hope he is well now! Loved him for gaol celebrations and his will for never giving up!! Gazza you are a legend! cheers from germany

  • hope Gazza is now ok and getting his life back on track, in my opinion he is the greatest player ever. ps. brilliant video and song

  • legend..nuff said

  • me encanta este jugador, pero aparte me gustaria saber de quien es la cancion de este video

  • All these things I've done - The Killers

  • gracias peterweterp

  • i would be forever greatful if I could reach you to your ankle.....my true hero.....legend

  • am a charv ? ur the sad excuse why ppl have changed allegences in the northeast over the years. hebburn, jarrow, shiney fucking row and even penshaw, washington, south shields, durham have all lost fans to the greatunwashed because of sad fucking horrid mackems like yourself bigging yaselves up. fuck off ya sad twat, no wunda newcastle fans call ya sad mackem bastards, coz ppl like you make it easy for them.

  • i never tire of watching this video, thanks efctony1878, you're good, not as good as gazza, but good

  • Glen hoddle should never have dropped him from the england squad!!!!Rangers showed him the love and the loyalty he deserved as a genius.

  • like a kid, sometime some of them just need extra trust and more tolerance...if only more tolerance are showed to the clown prince...

  • we got knocked out the wc coz we never had gazza. If we had gazza to bring on in extra time he would have torn those argies to pieces!

  • he was on match of the day a week or two ago.

  • what's the name of the song???

  • The Killers - All these things I've done

  • Worst thing Gazza could have done was play in Scotland. He became accustomed to playing against shite week in-week out and for me lost his edge.

  • lost his edge??? you talk rubbish he played his best football at rangers. He was at rangers when he scored against scotland in euro 96, Englands best player of that tourney! you obviously only watch english prem

  • Nah, I never watch english prem anymore, and Gazza played in England before the prem. You have to admit though, he did bollocks at Boro and at Everton.

  • know him personally and he is a great guy, not seen him for a long time but he will always be my friend, hope to see you soon paul

  • an unbelievable footballer and top bloke. gazza, will there ever be another englishmen as great as you?

  • A wonderfully gifted man. But possibly the biggest waste of that amount of talent that any English player has ever shown.

Heartbreaking to see the impact he allowed family and hangers-on to have on his career/life.

  • My boyhood idol! What a player, should of gone Man U, he would of been even better, and i hate fucking Man U but The Horrible JOCK would of looked after him! Ifs and buts. Great song, great player and great memories!! ITALIA 90, Euro 96, Showing the ref a yellow card, burping down the mic, eating the crisps in the dugout, cheeky little elbow on 1.45mins and most of all kissing that PROUD WHITE ENGLAND SHIRT!! TAKE NOTE CURRENT ENGLAND PLAYERS!!!!

  • mate im a tottenham fan,and i agree with u,gazza should have gone to man utd,,even so,what a fucking player,pure genious,simple as that

  • Beautiful and sad and interesting choice of backing track .

The best British player - in my lifetime - perhaps ever!

  • geordie legend! shearer squirting the water in his mouth for the dentist chair! quality!

    hero and legend!

  • GENIUS

  • I hope his son Regan realises one day that not everything is black & white. Gazza has his reasons for the way he is right now but you can't take away that he was a breath of fresh air to football when there was a lack of true characters & has touched millions of peoples lives in a good way. Regan should be proud. The goal he scored when wearing his yellow kit on this vid (not sure who for & against) was better than Maradonas against England.

  • was for lazio mate. he is a hero

  • with genius comes despair. Gazza you're a fucking legend. King amongst men, no one can touch your skills.

  • long live the prince of football.

  • brilliant comment

  • He's got his dark side and he's got his brighter side.

Has any player made you laugh more, stop drinking your pint while you wait to see what he's going to do next or just leave you sitting back shaking your head with a big smile on your face?

    One of the greats.

And he didn't dive around on the ground like a little girl every time someone came near him!!!

    Long live Gazza.

    :)

  • Pure Genius.

Got in today from a long day at work and put this on. Superb! Thank you!

  • just seen a duncan edwards vid, and you are right, he was amazing, such a shame he died , who knows what he could have achieved for england

  • gazza one of the best of all time!

  • was 1 of the worlds best at his time,,feel sorry for him now hes dying thru drink..poor man,

  • geordie legend!!!! he was an all time great and sends chills down my spine when i watch his goals. evryone has there problems and the fuckin media should be shot for wot they have done to the bloke

  • i agree mate amazing player some guy loved him at glasgow rangers

  • gazza was a spurs legend!!!!!!!! amazing player.

  • I thought we were commenting on the video and player which are both brilliant, of that theres no doubt, but if we must go into all that,I notice his 'step' daughter Bianca won't get rid of the name Gascoigne, and his wife rec'd millions for her troubles and is still milking him now.If he was that bad she wouldn't be hanging around still. Get well soon Paul

  • Top Football the specials are always a little crazy it's what makes them !!

  • All these things ive done!, forgot to mention he beats his wife up

  • get a life u muppet.

  • a looney and a wife beater

  • what a big man you are jim giving him abuse behind your computer screen. well, at least he had a wife. ive got a sneeking suspician you probably havent even spoke to a woman before. he is the best footballer this country has ever produced and has been badly let down by the media that have destroyed him

  • safcftm21,

don't be a cunt all of ya life even though gazza was a geordie he was still a good player if you nothing positive to say don't say it!!!!!! i would have loved to have a player like gazza play for sunderland geordie or not, still a great footy player

  • a wasnt fuckin referrin to gazza wen i said that u thik cunt. i was talkin to sum mag who was makin comments. so fuckin do 1.

  • lol your the thick cunt mate. learn how to spell.... thick instead of thik and some instead of sum and one instead of 1 you chavvy inbred twat

  • smb

  • glenn hoddle ruined this man and englands hopes when he dropped him what could we have done that campaign i hope you read this glenn it was the start of gazzas down turn get well gazza you are a legend

  • Get well Gazza...

    Song fits in perfectly.

One of the greatest footballers England has ever and will ever produce.

  • have you got nothing better to do.what a sad fuck you are.

  • Supporter of child abuse Bhoyjoe?

    BJK.

  • some women love a good beating, i've never hit a woman myself. But believe me to some women, a punch is a kiss. Its not crime of the century

  • @bencawley1 you are an arsehole

  • why not a gazza testemonial? its and absolute disgrace no ones ever done one for him,he's given so much to so many ,now its his turn ,get well gazza, we love you

  • look at his childhood, then talk again

  • cos he never spent ten years at one club!!!thats how u have a testimonial son

  • @queensuejean hes not earned 1 sorry but there given to players like giggs that offer great service to the game. gaazza was a great player thats not enough to get 1

  • @thetoon99 you are right. giggs is the ultimate professional and never puts a foot wrong. a fantastic footballer with never a hint of disgrace attached to him, a true ambassador for the game. but give me excitement and brilliance and yes, a little madness any time, i never tire of watching this video, i don't think i could watch giggsy this often.

  • P.s Does anyone remember the pass that Gazza made to Steve Bull against Czechoslovakia for England? It was one of the last friendlies that England played before Italia'90 and his performance won him a place in the squad for the World Cup.

Bully took the inch perfect pass on his chest and volleyed it in. Quality move and I would love to see it again. Remember all the lads talking about that game at school the next day.

    Happy days. Great memories.

  • It's funny. Such a big deal was made about him having a weight problem, but looking back at that footage when he had the ball not one of his opponents could get near him. Not even close to making a tackle. He seemed to glide past them.

In my opinion the best and most naturally gifted football player England has ever produced. Thanks for the vid.

    Luv ya Gazza

  • @BazzaMann Aye, and he wasted all of it - waste of fucking skin.

  • Great vid! One of the BEST players ever England has produced - raw talent

  • What's the song??? Please!!!!

  • All these things that I've done. By The Killers. This song & Gazza together. Brilliant.

  • You must have had about 10 hours full of Gazza's best bits to work with to make this video.

Genius and Hope he manages to sort himself out. Miss you Gazza.

  • Love how the ref reaches into his pocket for his yellow card :)

Without doubt one of the most brilliant players there ever was. I hope that he gets his personal life back on track. Hang in there Gazza.

  • Obviously Irish (Scot with the brains bashed out). Get some deodorant you obnoxious paddy.

  • Typical British Turd, spray that deodorant around your mothers cancerous ball bag you world wide hateful bastard.............

  • Aaah, patriotism, the last resort of the scoundrel. You couldn't even grow a potato between you. But that's everybody elses fault. A word of advice, Paddy: Never try to raise your own dignity at the expense of someone elses. If there is any dignity left among the Irish.

  • And guess how I knew you were Irish / Celtic?

Because you're small minded, mealy mouthed, venomous, and have no self worth.

Only happy when you're miserable, and getting used to losing (football, half your country, etc)

Easily spotted. At least you've still got the song contest.

  • what a typical english rangers knob jockey to assume that 'one' is an irish man tut tut u neglected abused cunt. Small minded black bastard is to keep replying to 'one's' opinion with no life or hobbies to persue instead.. Go abuse, rape amd murder your own filth nationality like your father ian huntley or simply jerk off over ur own sprogs and sotp replying if you have any balls or a life what so ever cunt.. AU REVOIR

  • fck off u twat

  • Get well soon gazza. you where without a doubt THE best and most gifted player in the world and you know what made u differen? u loved playin the game u could tell, unlike all the players now who play for money you played cos u love football. you are my hero mate.

  • good vid love gazza but i gotta say did a gooner make this vid? cus you showed his goal against scotland about 10 times but prob his best goal ever against arsenal in the semi final for about 2 seconds lol

  • I agree with that below comment and he PERFORMEND ON THE FEILD WEARING THE ENGLAND SHIRT!!!

  • Probably the most gifted and creative player ever to have worn the Three Lions! What a legend!

  • Enorme Gazza!!!!

  • Hey gazza if you read this, let it ring in your ears and head until it hurts you more than you hurt yourself....We loved you Paul Gascoigne and to see you get beat by the booze is not the reason we love you. You were a game changer and that is never more applicable than today, than now.. You can beat that shit awful addiction and we will be there to help you remember why you were and still could be great again.. GOOD LUCK PAUL (because we all need a bit of that)

  • whether you like the English Soccer or not,

even as a german i pay big respect to Gazza. Never will forget his unique volley goal at EM 1996 vs Scotland.

  • For us all - a big lesson off the pitch, a bigger lesson on it!! Get well Gazza

  • Stay strong Gazza. Good Luck

  • get well soon gazza

  • Get well soon Gazza!

    Legend.

  • keep on fighting man, keep on fighting

  • Get well soon Gazza, the finest player to ever wear an England shirt, A true legend.

  • one of the best to wear an england shirt but not the best.duncan edwards is.

  • Chris woddle lol

  • G.O.D.

  • a legend who had great skill.and played the game the way not seen by any player in england since george best ect by the way he beat players and would try the impossible.he would have been great in the man u team of the 50's a longside duncan edwards in center mid.

  • just saw snippets from old news reals, but you could tell he was class

  • can you post them to me in a message so i can see if i have seen them.

  • i'm not very good on a computer, but all i did was write his name on yahoo and also google, that gave me plenty to look at

  • paul.you have a place in glasgow and in my heart forever.season ticket for ibrox for 12 years, you are the best player i have seen, please get well soon.

  • He made football look easy. quality player and such a character with it. Thats what made him that bit different to the rest. I genuine lover of the the game. Everytime he played he enjoyed it but still had that aggressive edge to his game too.

  • Get well soon Paul. LEGEND....

  • Legend. Plain and simple.

  • The man is a hero forever to Rangers fans.

    No Surrender Gazza

We Are The People & you are one of us.

  • Brilliant.

Everyone who loves football needs to watch this today, and pray this tainted genius finally gets the help he needs.

Easily the finest, most gifted English player of his generation. And from what others say a generous, kind hearted and effortlessly cheeky Gentleman off the field.

Gazza, you are a legend. Get well soon mate.

    Sir Braz.

  • quality....

what was that goal that starts at 1:10.... he's in yellow ... Lazio away strip ?

    cheers

    Chris

  • I think it's Lazio playing away at Napoli.

  • It was Lazio against Pescara.. he made a great gol there, I can still remember it!

  • Nobody playing today is better than Gascoigne was. Certainly no British player comes close - Lampard WHO?, Gerrard WHO?, and he was better than Ronaldinho, Kaka and Messi. How much would you pay for him in todays market?

Paul Gascoigne is the best player I've ever seen - thanks for the time you spent in Glasgow with Rangers.

  • he was great but you're overdoing it, he is not beyond ronaldinho and messi

  • Yes he was Moe - we Brits have a habit of seeing South American players as Gods - these guys are no better than Gascoigne was - certainly Ronaldinho is not having a great season and he was poor at the last World Cup.

George Best remains the greatest British footballer ever - Gazza was not far behind.

  • i'd have gazza in my team over lampard, gerrard or beckham.... golden gereation my arse..

  • I'd take Gazza over all 3 together! The England team at the moment is nothing compared to the 1990 side, both in ability and passion. Hopefully Capello can turn it around and bring in some team spirit and the players who will 'fight for the shirt'.

  • yeah Gazza was a fat cunt.. but still.. we know how good he was..... thank q GAzza~!

  • paul gascgoine eh? good inspiration to look at. Good player, bit of a shame with the drink but i hope he gets through it (Y)

  • only 1 paul gascoigne!!! a true blue!! no surrender!!!

  • I love this song its amazing

  • What is the name of it?

  • all these things that ive done, by the killers

  • nice vid mate. gazza was the one.

  • And you are an attention whore.

  • u need to learn some respect you dirty faggot

  • there's only one paul gascoigne

  • Good vid mate. Gazza is a legend.
