It's nice to see Mass Effect played by someone who's actually good at the game. I have it for 360, but I have to keep the difficulty on Casual or Normal because although I'm pretty good at tactical and RPG elements, I can't shoot with dual-analog for shit.

I'm doing Vanguard on Insanity and I'm already level 14... is it a bad idea to throw points into Intimidate for Insanity? Should I be focusing on combat skills instead?

to get the Hardcore/Insanity play-through achievements can I do it with a second play-through character? If so, when do I change the difficulty? I've heard people say you can anytime before the end of Eden Prime but it'd be a LOT of gameplay to do if it's incorrect. Is that correct or no?

The achievment says that you cannot change the difficulty for the achievment, so I'm pretty sure you need to do it with a new character and have it set on hardcore from the start.

But to clarify what it is: You CAN do it with a second playthrough as long as you change the difficulty BEFORE you leave Eden Prime. So, before you look at the Prothean Beacon. It's MUCH easier on a second playthrough, it's really really hard on a first playthrough

Not exactly so. You can activate it 5 times, additional activations must be authorized by EA support. you have to call them and explain why you need additional activations.

So did I. Really hard until level 20, where you pick your upgrades on the Moon.

The ability to damage enemies in Stasis and spend a near-infinite amount of time with shields boosted made things kind of easy.

i really like playing as infiltrators :D they are so awesome with the sniper rifle and their pistols can get INSANE rates of fire when you level up more and more. but every class is fun in this game, my favorite game ever created.

vangaurd was my choice for my first play through. only problem is wit vanguard, u cant hack and there are no sniper rifles. thats y i choose the cross between engineer and soldier (i forgot name). im on insanity and that class is doin me wonders:)

I chose Solider cass and I really can not be bothered starting again (pretty much finished) but I do think that the Vanguard is the best class choice for those who like biotics and shotguns, not to mention if you can add assault rifles through the achievement.

But I would say that decryption and electronic skills are absolutley vital for any squad.

just finishd insanity, wasnt that bad... i also chosed soldier for the assault rifle and sniper...

soldier is really fun specially when fighting a geth destroyer... just dash to each other and smack each other on the face if both of u survives the joust...

the only downside with my char is, i didnt grab warp for the bunos skill, which i regretted the moment i faced 3 krogans.. lolz

Yeah, I didn't get the bonus skills (which is a brilliant idea and future game developers should take note that it makes achievements worthwhile) until I was halfway through my secod playthrough using Soldier class.

I'll probably start again, I've been messing about with a Vanguard with bonus skill of Assault Rifle but I prefer Heavy Armour...Wish there was a bonus skill for that!

Yes a Vangaurd is one of the mix classes. It is combat with a pistol and shotgun and also has access to biotics aswell its a great class and I have used it on both my playthroughs but im thinking of changing it up for my 3rd.

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but where did you find your set of Colossus armor for Shepard? I've only ever found a set for Wrex, and none of the vendors in the game ever seem to have the armor. Noticed he had the set in this playthrough, thought I'd ask, thanks for your time.

Great job dude. There's 1 or 2 other sets of youtube videos on ME (playthrough) but this one is the best.

The other ones spend too much time doing stupid shit (customizing, leveling up). But your videos are good, they get to the meat quick.
