  • *underwater dumbo* XD

  • i forget the scientific term for these creatures but they are real. watch that 11 part series on the discovery channel, "Life". they talk about them. they're like pre-prehistoric fish. they're kind of like what fish looked like before dinosaures, before plants in land, before life on land. it's kind of amazing they're still around really.

  • Chuck Norris got them in his own aquarium.

  • Ive seen some interesting things b4 Ive seen whales up close Ive touched a lion Ive heard a fox sound like Satan but nothing will ever be as weird as this for all those who say no way could their be life any were else look at these creatures they live in insane pressure and ridiculous low temperatures, if these sea dwelers can exist here who's to say that big foot doesn't exist

  • what the fu*k ? are these things aliens or underwater animals.

  • that is some strang shit

  • Absolutely gorgeous. I love deep sea creatures so much! ^o^ blackpager, you seem like such a cool person! :D

  • can anyone tell me why they glow?

  • scientists believe that they glow to warn predators, for communication, to attract preys, and also as a form defense...

  • okay and how do they glow? some chemical thing I guess?

  • they are either caused by bioluminescent bacteria inside them or bioluminescent chemical reaction... I remember this big tree in front of my house and during the beginning of wet season thousands of fireflies come out and they show an amazing display... and its even better when the night is pitch black...

  • @sk8boarder13 hey they glow because it is not only to protect them but there is no light down there so they have to c some how

  • this is truely facinating, some really beautiful life forms. i love the way they glow and are transparent, it's really remarkable.

  • i wonder what it feels like if you swim with those creatures.. hmmmmmm

  • It feels like getting crushed by the huge pressure, which is what would happen.
