It sucks watching them run ONLY 1/8th mile......It would be AWESOME if they ran the 1/4mile.....A complete OVERKILL to have ALL this power in these ProMods & Only run HalfTrack geeezzzz.....I guess if the ADRL has anymore crashes then they will go to 330ft racing....What a WASTE!!!!

If ADRL ran the full 1/4 there would be no cars left to race the 2nd half of the season. 5.50s @ 260+ in a pro mod? Yikes the costs and danger would keep anyone from running the adrl, the few who could compete would end up with a lot of shredded carbon fiber/ chrome moly / aluminum.

The racers need to race in a class that they can afford then, because 1/8th mile is too dam short for these cars.ADRL cars would never run 5.50's on the 1/4mile because they are geared for 1/8th mile ..in fact most probably would be in the 6 second range with that setup IF they could make it under full power to the 1/4mile finish....EVERY racefan knows that.

Plus the ADRL racers told me @ Rockingham last year that they race 1/8th mile because its cheaper & they have a better chance of winning..And when I ASKED? They told me they dont race NHRA promod because its much harder & ALOT more expensive.1 of the drivers asked me if I was CRAZY...He said 5.80's on the 1/4mile are you kidding!!!
