Very nice post. I live in the Netherlands and I haven't seen a single bee this year yet! Plenty of wasps, though.

I noticed the same thing last year when I lived in Texas. No bees, but many wasps. They seem to be taking over or something.

I'm not at all a specialist, but I believe bees and wasps have a different habitat! So I don't think it's possible that wasps are taking over, because they're not competitors...
