  • I want to thank the producer of this video. I trained with the PPCLI when I was with the 10th Mountain Division I also had the honor of serving along side my Canadian brothers and sisters in arms as well as many others from the coalition in 2001 and 2002 in Afghanistan. I thank you for your steadfast resolve and determination as well as the sacrifice of your countrymen and women. It was an honor to kick dirt and send rounds down range with you. Vires Montesque Vincimus

  • Canada also housed and fed 30 000 American passengers for days after the attack.

    Your welcome

  • @martinimix79 Okay.

  • man everytime i watch this i get tears in my eyes. i cant wait to go overseas!

  • wow when i saw this i had tears in my eyes well done man and thank you so much for helping US over there you are truly our brothers from the north God bless Canada

  • 9/11 was the first time the NATO charter was invoked: an attack on one NATO country is an attack on all NATO countries. Canada lost 28 people that day, third most non-american victims, i know a few canadians that almost became part of that number.

  • I pray we Never Forget... and that we are fighting together.....

  • I sincerely think that your videos are of the best on youtube. They are ever so inspiring and extremely appreciated. Thank you so much,

    A fellow patriotic Canadian.

  • FANTASTIC VIDEO MAN, GREAT JOB!

  • Q: Why are we fighting in Afghanistan?, it was the states that got attacked not us

A: Its called a coalition for a reason, people

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx 24 Canadians were killed

  • @diehardsweetheart oh, okay I didnt know that, but even more of a reason to go.

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx I used to think that way. Then I realized that feeble argument is just that.

It was only Britian that got attacked during WW2. Yet, would anybody deny the wisdom of marshalling to fight the evils Nazism and Hitler's tyranny represented to the free world?

This is the same. Those who committed this crime have shown that they have an equal lack of respect for human life. They have shown they will not stop until stopped, and the danger they represent is real for all of us.

  • @TheLastCanadian thats all true, only problem is, it seems some people have their heads in their ass, and they dont think that Canada, or any of our allies are in danger. But you make a good point, that is another good reason to go.

  • @TheLastCanadian Not just England was attacked druing the Second World War. Also the Japanese attacked the Canadian Main Land.

    ~Thanato

  • @Thanato26 I know, it was just for the purposes of illustrating my point.

  • Think twice America before, making fun of our Military. Without us, the US Military wouldn't be as far as they are now. Canadian Forces are ranked as the 5th most powerful Military force, based on statistics taken by the UN, and the United States is ranked 9 in worlds most powerful Military forces. It's quality, not quantity my friends to the south, and thats a lesson you need to learn.

  • @x2p428 The US is the worlds most powerful Military Force by far. They have the ability of Force Projection, a capability that the CF is just currently aquiring.

    ~Thanato

  • @Thanato26 Aquiring? Not even close.

  • @x2p428 We're ranked 10th best. The USA has better logistics,a bigger Military budget, stealth technology, more manpower, more Spec Ops Units,MORE Aircraft,etc... And the USMC is at Canadian Forces standards at training, and they're twice the size of our entire Armed Forces. Don't think that being Canadian makes you better than anybody.

  • @x2p428 Look not hating on Canada, and I'll proudly serve beside your country and I'm sure I will. However America is ranked 1st in Military Power, Canada is 10th. Either way who cares, we're on the same side...and I'm looking forward to serving with you when I go to Afghanistan. I've only been to Iraq, and all I seen were Australians.

  • can't wait to enlist and kill the motherfuckers who killed all those innocent people, i may be canadian but america is our ally , our brothers, and sisters died that day on september 11th 2001 and the people who did it will pay with their lives even if it means me dying trying to kill them id rather die trying to make a differance then leaving it alone. Nato, UN forces and all our alllies armed forces for the win! fuck the terrorists!

  • @Ruizbros2 it's not all about killing bad guys and blowing shit up, it's also about supporting the people and doing what we promised to do.

i don't think that the Canadian Forces it a force of peace keepers, but instead we are unique in the way that our goal is to be peace makers.

  • Fucking amen mate! hoping to enlist the dutch army! Take care! let's get some! Beautifull video btw! goodluck out there

  • Any one That Forget's Why We are There. Should. See This Video. I know I'm to Old To Do This. Injury and Age are Terrible Thing's, When You Want to Put Your Boot's on The Ground Over There. If Any Thing Ever Happened in Your Country(Canada) I Will Come Old , Injured. Be Dammed.

  • God Bless our Troops! Lest we forget what the have done for Us and what they are doing for us!!

  • Don't necessarily put it on Harper for the pull out. The Liberals sent us there in the first place and as soon as the lost the election started yapping about casualties and the pull out so they could get votes for the next election.

The job isn't done yet and we should be there unitl it is. Screw politicians.

  • @OABW4RR10R --Even though my son is a member of the CF scheduled to deploy in Jan I totally agree. We don't see all the good Canada is doing over there on the news--we only see when we have lost one of our soldiers.

  • This one may be you best effort yet.

    BZ!

  • If only Harper was not withdrawing the troops.

What the west seems to have forgotten is the reality that we are fighting a war.

We're fighting Afghanistan like Norway, and it is quickly yielding similar results.

  • @TheLastCanadian Agreed!

  • @TheLastCanadian i dont believe we should be pulling out there is too much work to be done, when is the deadline for the troops to be withdrawn...because i was under the impression that our troops were going to become peacekeepers and still have a contingent in afghanistan but nowhere near the numbers over there now?

  • @ChirpyCanuck That's just so we don't get our knickers in a knot. For all intensive purposes, we're withdrawing.

  • I was only 5 years old when the attacks took place, Yet I still remember that day, Even living here in Canada ( God Bless our country for Peace ) I felt the affects. And Now I have to lower my flag in our front yard to half mast whenever I get the news that one of my Brothers has been killed,( My parents were in the military and so was my brother) This video brought me down to tears.

Thank you for making this video, Lest We Forget our fallen soldiers and Remember the 3000 people on 9/11.

  • Cheers Matt for this heartfelt tribute, brought me to tears mate! 9/11 will never be forgotten.

  • I happy to see there is not hate comments here almost every 9/11 video is full of them.

But I remember everything about this day and I support the reason why we are there, and I'm happy we did not get involved with Iraq.

I hope the boys can come back home soon they've been though enough, it's up to the current Government of Afghanistan to stand on their own two feet and start doing things for themselves. I'm proud of our boys and they will always have my love and respect.
