I view the thread but couldn't find what solved the problem... I have the same EXACT problem with my Audi a6... one side blinks faster than the other and all lights work.. and i need to some help based on what you did to fix yours..
did you try switching out the round blinker control module in the fuse box? I bet that would fix the problem. I got my 08 xb in august and I like it so far except the plasticness of the interior.
Had the same problem after I install LED bulbs... I needed load resistors.

I know you said it was fixed but I know some cars do that to let you know the light will go out soon. Its a precautionary thing
