  • Why so short?

  • BABY MAKING MUSIC ;D

  • I'm writing a book to this song :D!!!!

  • So hauntingly beautiful. I felt like I was dropped into a parallel reality for... about two minutes. It ended too soon!

  • these bitches sued ICP? haha wow

  • I'll use this song to puy my baby to sleep >:3

  • 9 people were scared by listening to this song.

  • people need music like this in the world there's not enough

  • I wonder why there is so many ppl that seem to like pretty music like this , when in my city i can't find a single person to have great tastes -_- this is beautiful , why nobody wants to see it -_-

  • close your eyes, picture a fog shrouded cemetery,a white wispy form floats out of a grave or mausoleum, heading towards the path to the road, stops and turns towards you, then turns back to the path and floats out of the cemetery and heads down the road to town,as you watch it getting smaller your instantly propelled to the middle of town in the road, the form comes around the bend slowly and heads for the edge of town as the music slows so does the form as the music ends the form slowly vanishes

  • @Tiebor12 I can not close my eyes and read your comment at the same time. I am forever trapped in this conumdrum.

  • @LimitedTimeOnlyMusic Ahahahaha! Brill. comment!

  • I love midnight syndicate

  • wonderful music

  • Just found out about this group. I love Nox Arcana like no tomorrow, and so far i'm liking Midnight Syndicate a lot as well; I'm glad i bumped into the band, it always nice to hear things that DON'T play on your radio stations ;P

  • @KryptonNightX You got that right! They're releasing a new album next week, but if you like Nox Arcana, this group is a must for your music library!

  • @KryptonNightX I like how both bands make you come up with your own frightening images. I find this amazingly good to write my stories to. :D

  • @chaoticpix93 agreed. This is the only way I can write anymore. It just unleashes your inner author i think :) Or poet.

  • Beautiful.

  • listen to any of midnight syndicates songs while reading hp lovecraft or edgar allan poe

  • i listen to this music all the time, i love vampires, darkness, moonlight being alone etc. if you look at me you wouldn't even guess i like this things! i am see things i feels things, anyway this has nothing to do with satanic stuff i actually think people must deal with their own darkness before anything else ;)

  • this sounds like Calvarium Funestus - Binan Ath

  • There is something about dark melodies that are not evil, but dark, that is just sinfully lovely. I find that listening to this music while reading something wicked is... just about the most perfect evening that I could have. Just unbelievably delightful.

  • @Divinemartyr There's a huge difference between dark and evil. I hate how they're always grouped together. Someone can be dark natured but that doesn't make them evil.

  • I don't know if I'm a goth. Don't intend to insult anyone if I do. I just enjoy anything and everything dark. Although, by looking at me, you wouldn't think I did.

  • Scary melody but amazing i love this artist!

  • enjoyable <3

  • is this a gothic song

  • ahh so wonderful in my heart

  • I headbanged to this song

  • this calm and peaceful...............may I download it?

  • That sounds kinda wrong..Darkness is simbol if the unknown. Wich ppl fear by instinct. Evil is a relative word. ...still. Moralizing sux bcouse its stupid

  • Darkness and evil are two different things, darkness is not always evil its just who uses it.

  • this is so strange, but i love this, is so good for studing or sleeping ahah

  • dark ambient!!!!!!!!!!!! this song is the best i just love it so much

  • this really embraces the feeling of Death and Morose in the strongest assests. Being goth, i find this music suiting and prominent as a personality. specially when walking through a dark wooods i n the blackest of night.

  • im goth, and proub to be one. i love dark beauty and i have a sick enjoyment out of watching others pain, but i have a split-personality. oh! you know what pissing me of the most? Goths being confused of being "emo"

Emo are weak suicidal individuals. Goths are driven by madness or desire to be strong.

  • perfect stuff to sample for beats

  • I play midnight syndicate wen I dm

  • @1gutsman dude, i was just about to say what u said i'm DMing next week. my friend named me the scary DM. cuz of this music. Lol

  • Goth doesn't exist anymore. Today's "goth" is a pathetic representation of what it was back in the early 90's.

  • @etanoose You've got it all wrong. 90's don't exist anymore.

    :)

  • I'm a bit surprised at all the claims of this being 'goth' music, I just thought of this as being a throw back to romantic era classical music but I guess it really does have a rather gothic feel to it though......

  • @kingoftheswing000 I agree. I am not Goth, and honestly I like this music as background noise and not much else. It fits my World of Darkness Campaign quite nicely though.

  • I am not a Goth but I love the atmosphere the music invokes. This is a passport to another world near but far from ours. I might not want to live there but I would like to visit.

  • its symphonic music most probably classical or romantic style. NOT GOTH. "goth" or the proper term DARKWAVE is mixture of deathrock, neo romantic music such as Adam Ant, and post punk. goth apart from being satyrical or philospophical towards things "dark" or misunderstood or obscure goth has nothing to do with all things dark thats just being macbre thats not associated with goth read your literature and do some research seriously people damn

  • @kmfdm5 i meant to say its not always associated with the dark. if anything its more erotic and of course being a subgenre of romanticism it deals with nature. as i said SERIOUSLY PEOPLE

  • @kmfdm5 It's actually satirical, and there isn't anything satirical about goth music. Satire is a means of comedy through sarcastic expression, authors such as Swift and Moliere employ such modes.

  • @8TBALL satire doesnt always have to be comical and sarcasm is the least comical (with subtle directness) way to go about it

  • There's a certain mysticism to the gothic culture that seems to have been lost at times. Most people now believe that to be "gothic" you need to be a teenager in trip pants and extreme amounts of black makeup. Not true. Much like GothicAngel515, the Romantic Gothic is one of the most beautiful (in my opinion) lifestyles out there. Most likely because I am one as well, but still. There's a beauty to it that people sometimes forget. This music only helps to remind me of the beauty in the world.

  • @HermioneJr

I'm sorry, I just can't take anything said by someone whose handle is HermioneJr seriously

  • @EffingL Yeah, it's from when I was a lot younger and I really don't feel like creating a new profile because of all my favorites and everything haha.

  • I'm also Goth and i love this song, its been inspiration for some of my best stories and poems. Thank you Midnight Syndicate

  • I'm not gothic and i enjoy this band. There's no wrong in enjoying the creeps sometimes

  • This is Dark Ambient / Neo-Classical. Goth is a term for someone who listens to Goth Rock. Emo is a term for someone who listens to Emotional Hardcore. Not complicated stuff.

  • I ain't goth, I ain't emo, I am normal. I don't want to be contradicted into people believing this music is just for goth/emo people. This music is for Everyone. I like this music, I rapidly think what the music can be used for in a video. Particularly this tune could be used for a sad scene in a horror film for a funeral. Slow pan on peoples faces showing their sadness.

I don't like people who stereotype others. I stereotype you as someone who doesn't give a sh*t about anyone but yourself!

  • This isn't flipping goth music people I wear black all the time but I am not gothic kay

  • this feeds us strength

  • THIS IS NOT GOTH MUSIC FOR GOTHS. PLEASE FUCK OFF, SUB CULTURE STEREOTYPES.

  • @Stragulia

Haha, wow..... clean the sand out.

  • I think I'm half goth myself....I love certain things about darkness, they inspire me a lot and give me beautiful feelings, I like vampires and gargoyles, I'am fascinated by ghost stories and tend to dress in black, but I also love colours...it depends on my mood....probably because I'm an artist?

  • sucess i am a goth and people think im emo because i dress differently... HOW COME I CANT DO WHAT I WANT WITHOUT BEGIN THROWN INTO A CATAGORY??

  • @InsaneZombieman

Haha, same actually. Only when the mood seems to fit, though.

  • No satin worship? But it's so soft and velvety against my skin ....

  • @RHJunior Amazing. You are amazing :)

  • @RHJunior is that softer than satan???

  • I just love Halloween and horror but every shirt i have is black and has some sorta grusome detail on it my house on 'Halloween is insane

  • *shrug* I'm not gothic, still love this type of eerie sound in music.

  • It bought their Halloween Music COLLECTION! I love this song!

  • This kind of reminds me of my favorite album Transylvania by Nox Arcana.

  • I love everything about being goth and nearly everything related to it, the music, the clothing, the darker side....just everything, and everything about being myself....this is so beautifully dark.....People called goth weird....I'm like "Thank you" hahah

  • sounds like omnisphere

  • perfect for gothic/vampire/not-childrens-halloween-parties :D or movie-making. or as backgroundmusic while someone tells a creepy story. :D

  • liikeee

  • This song is so beautiful and really does represent the light fading away and the darkness's ascent.

  • THE ATMOSPHERE IS GREAT¡¡

  • Want a challenge? On a dark night, preferibly misty, play this in your car and drive to a graveyard and spend an hour there without any lights or sounds. THAT should test the mettle of even the bravest men!

  • @redxile666 I like graveyards; I think they're peaceful, and if I had the chance I'd definitely go to one at night and stay there for a while contemplating stuff.

People who fear graveyards aren't afraid of what lies within them, but instead fear the fact that they will one day be part of one.

  • @TTarOtaku Nicely put. I personaly believe most people fear graveyards because they never know what lies in the dark, and a graveyard adds a possible face to the fear.

  • @TTarOtaku Wow, thinking about that bottom line hearing this song, just gives me cold chills.

  • @redxile666 as long as i get to wear a trench coat and keep a revolver with me

  • @ogopolo : Black trench coat and a 9mm.

  • @redxile666 Wait you said no sound......but you said play this, Im kinda just joking but lol

  • If you like this, you might like Zombie Influx by Buzz-Works....

  • If you like this, you might like Zombie Influx by Buzz-Works....

  • too bad it starts to suck after 2:07 =/

  • @synardlord So true

  • @jehowhat

I completely agree. One of the West Memphis 3 (if you don't know who they are, look it up and support their release!) highly reccommended listening to Midnight Syndicate. If an innocent man who's been living in the hell of an akansas prison for the last 20 years can find the beauty in it and time to be positively inspired, anyone can.

  • Now I'm REALLY excited about Halloween <333

  • Does anyone know where I can get a free mp3 download of this song?? I keep checking on my Limewire, but I can't seem to find it anywheres..

  • @03rsxxbabe limewire got shut down by the riaa

  • @03rsxxbabe *coughYoutubetoMp3Convertercough*

  • @BamTheMaster

Dude! Thank you so much!!! : )

  • @03rsxxbabe you're welcome :)

  • @03rsxxbabe Limewire broke my friend's soundcard.

  • It chills me out, especially because it sounds like Save Room from Resident Evil. Cold, horrifying memories.

  • @galazpriet Memories of of what, your mom calling from the other room telling you to put down the controller & take out the garbage? :)

  • This was/is one of the most appropriate, although most of MS music is haunting, but this is death from a beautiful fleeting subtle way. A few years before my youngest bro passed away, he brought MS into our music storehouse. Excellent cut from them. Everytime I hear them, and not enough on the radio I might add, its jesse . . .

  • PERFECT Halloween music !

  • 5 stirken souls pressed the wrong tormented button

  • just heard it on aol radio awesome stuff

  • awesome song :P

  • For some reason I always compare Midnight Syndicate to Nox Arcana, anyone else compare the two?

  • @layfield98 It is easy to compare the two only because they are a dark orchestrated and instrumental. After comparing the two, I think MS has the upper advantage due to Gaven's composing skills. If Gaven was to go off and do his own Halloween/ dark music project it would be way better!

  • @layfield98 maybe because the artist -Joseph Vargo of Nox Arcana also has produced 2 albums for Midnight Syndicate :) making the two bands somehow associated with each other

  • @layfield98 same guy in the bands

  • try nightmare creatures soundtrack alone ...

  • you can listen to this ANY time of the year; whenever ya feel like it. You can use it for certain movie ideas. I've used a good amount of these songs for Call of Duty and Resident Evil alike :)

  • steps out the front door ..the sky looks odd tonight ..clouds moveing so fast against the moonlight, casting black outlines of the trees on the ground the bitter wind bites deep to the bone as i walk up the rough track ..feels like eyes are watching in the darkness

  • IM HOPEING THEY STILL GO THOUGH WITH THE LIVE CONCERT AT HHN THIS YEAR!

  • Sometimes this sh!t is the only thing that can describe the way you feel!

  • I agree.....not one bad song.

Too bad they only sell it around Halloween I listen to MS all year long.....but then again every day for me IS Halloween!

  • i'm goth and i tend to be the happiest person in the room most of the time. i like listening to these songs because they are beautiful and they inspire me. don't judge, especially when you're using a sterotype. it tends to upset people, even the 'normal' ones.

  • @vampwolfchick Agreed.

  • @vampwolfchick Hell TO THE YES XD

  • @vampwolfchick you yourself, are guilty of judgements upon others.

  • What's with all this "goths are all miserable" talk? I've been a goth all my life (ok, within the obvious reasoning) and I'm a happy person...geez, talk about stereotyping others and typecasting yourself.

  • @plummad I know, that's because either people are poseurs, or people don't know what Gothic is and they mistake emo's as Goth's.

  • @GothicAngel515 what do u meen?? i know that emos are sad and depressed like me but wat is goth in your eyes?? to me its dark and evil but yet its some what creative

  • @MultiDoomsday666 Gothic is loving the dark things in life, not evil satin worship. But the beautiful things in the darkness. Theres all kinds of different Goths, I am Romantic Gothic. I enjoy the softer things in life. For example my favorite colors are burgundy and black. My favorite movie is Phantom of the Opera and Titanic. Not everything I love is dark, but I do love beautiful cathedrals, black roses, gargoyles, vampires, and ghosts. Sounds kinda stereotypic but I'm trying to tell about me.

  • @GothicAngel515 well you said it yourself goth are diferent types lol

  • @GothicAngel515 Beautifully put. And I think many of us would agree with that analysis. Stereotypical or otherwise.

  • @GothicAngel515 how about enjoying walking around outside at night when its foggy. This is one of the things I like to do to relax and clear my mind. Some people find this odd.

  • @plptypscp That would like heaven on earth, the beauty of it all would surround you...

  • @plptypscp Try that with a dark foggy road, flickery lights; Rarely will you see a car pass by. It's just about to start raining, by means of a tiny drizzle, and you'd notice someone standing in the fog; it's 55 degrees, and out of the cloak they carry is a long-ish machete. they walk towards you, and you just dart out into the shroud.

True story; had to do that once; was byebye calm.

  • @GothicAngel515

Jes i think so too. I'm not gothic but i loves the darknes in songs like this tune.Sometimes - i like the dusky feeling in my heart and sometimes is the dusky just what I need. But i don't pray to Satan xD. Dark is a amazing interesting sentiment . But I like happynes Tunes too. So i hear raves tunes. So i'm a raver 4 live.

  • @DJmurderbazz I totally agree with what you say, there's is a very beautiful and inspiring part of darkness...

  • @Elenadatri

Jes i think so too. And dark tunes are a good way for stress reduction ore something loosen sticking emotions ( i hope it is right translated)

  • @GothicAngel515 Satin Worship XDD

  • @GothicAngel515 What you say is lovely...I understand you and am inspired by people like you...

  • @GothicAngel515 I'm a Transcendentalist

  • @Jdxthoj Hey... us too! This song reminds me of those samurai movies where the hero readies himself for battle knowing that he'll most likely die, but he's more than willing to forge ahead and embrace his destiny! Well, at least that's what I get when I listen to it...

  • @transzendence uhhh what about connecting with nature and stuff

  • @Jdxthoj Indeed, my friend!

  • @GothicAngel515

Sir.. I sure hope you mean Satan..

  • @GothicAngel515 hahaha u said satin instead of Satan which is funny also because alot of goths also adore the fabric of satin Lol

  • @GothicAngel515 Gothic is females sucking my corspe painted dick

  • @GothicAngel515 Knight of the Black Rose...

  • @GothicAngel515 Awwww your a romantic goth! So sweet meow, I havent spoken to one in a while its nice, & don't worry about being a stereotype. Loving the dark is a form of perfection. One of the only stereotypes for us that I cannot stand is the evil satanic worship-as odd as tha sounds I have NEVER met another goth tha was into tha. There are so many different forms of goth, & I enjoy all types, they are all awesome meow.

  • @GothicAngel515 I love evil satin.....................i don't particularly like satan LOLOL

  • not to diss but it sounds like a soundtrack, i love goth and this sounds good but too much like something on the back of a movie.

  • @0mri its supposed to

  • @Xzonin OH! really? had no clue.

    thanks for telling me.

  • Halloween draws near....

  • my favorite of all their songs, definitely

  • it's so scary!

  • :D!

  • i love these types of songs it gives me alot of inspiration when writing, and you dont have to be emo or goth to listen to these songs like me im as non goth as a person could possibly be

  • @Random1Much Who the hell thinks that you have to be goth to listen to this? =_='' I'm totally a cheerful person! Albeit I am creeped out by these songs, but that just means this music is BEAUTIFUL! Without music like this I wouldn't be able to get inspiration to write my stories. :C

  • @TheCityDreamer "a cheerful person" ..--" even if goths were not ceerful persons <<

  • @TheCityDreamer I'm sorry, not to be a bitch or anything but not all Goths are uncheerful. Most of us are actually very happy and *le gasp* we can have a laugh if you can believe it! Yep, that's right! Just letting you know for future reference. But I agree, this music is beautiful!

  • @MellosChocoBar i'm a goth... a happy goth *smile* =)

  • @Yuirichan1 Lol

  • I'm so lucky to have stumbled onto this band on accident...

    Wow... awesome music.

  • We play Midnight Syndicate music on Halloween when little kids come up for candy, its like a 10 second walk so we set up speakers all around the trees and bushes lol

  • Reminds me of Nox Arcana.

  • ya know, midnight syndicate makes awesome songs, but that doesnt mean i go crazy when i hear it, i mean, its different than other songs, its..... relaxing =)

  • pure bliss!!

  • lasombra theme song great

  • It just happened to have the same song title as Dark Angel's Darkness Descends didn't it?

  • amazing =)

mhh i could imagine nice scary game or movie scenes with this music

  • this reminds me of HHN 16 the caretaker

  • @SniperStrikesAgain HHN gets most of their music from Midnight Syndicate.

  • @StrangeMusicFan91 i already knew that i am a huge fan of HHN

  • @SniperStrikesAgain oh ok lol me too, which one do u go to Orlando or Hollywood?

  • @StrangeMusicFan91 Orlando cuz i live in orlando and im 13 and hhn is awesome.......... more people say orlando is better than hollywood

  • @SniperStrikesAgain Cuz it IS BETTER! lol. I live in Orlando too. I have an annual pass to Universal Studios and Islands of adventure, and when HHN comes around i buy the Frequent Fear Pass. I love it, I cant wait for Jack to come back this year!!
