Drilled threaded holes in to the legs of a regular roller trainer, put skate board wheels in those, built a track for that to move fore and aft, and tensioned the whole thing with rubber tie-down straps held to the roller frame by clamps for adjustability.

Nice work, the forward and backward motion give you more comfort, and help to keep the bike on better as well.
I need to get a new elastic for my rollers, but then I might do a similar modification to mine as well.

i recommend you dont come off rollers... cus then you hit the wall and make a hole in the wall like i did? thats the least of your worries...
