I put quite a few videos of burrowing owls here on YouTube if you want to see them.. They're not endangered here in FL, maybe elsewhere. But they are a species of special concern. I've had famiies in my back yard for 3 years, lucky me.

You can tell he/she must be hot. At the beginning of the video, it's hanging it's wings low (not close to it's body). They do that when they're overheated. They also kind of pant a little. Nice that you have a sprinkler there for it.
