No, it's not a sport... It's a life!

You can play basketball with friends, train to play hockey better, maybe work as a football player, but when you get home you have your life, your friends, your family.

With horses it's different. You can just ride with friends, train a little or be a champion. But if the horse is yours, when you get home he/she will be that friend, that family member and you'll realise that your whole life is dedicated to hime/her.

So no, it's not a sport... It's a lot more!

@MsOfficiallyawesome z Hello, I use a lot of "equestrianvision" videos, you can find them on YouTube. I just record them off of my computer using my camera, just be sure to write that you don't own the clips or music in either the video or in the description box. Hope that helps :)

Riding is like soccer, the practises are not called "doing a sport", nor do they follow the definition of a sport. Riding a horse in a lesson or a lease is NOT a sport. Showing a horse, is a sport. There is only so much time that real athletes actually play a sport, same with us riders.

I don't ride western but I like how you included those clips. Finally the sport is noticed!
