  • Where is this at?

  • I wonder if I could sneak up on him in that gothic armor.... O_O Joking. winter is prohibiting me from going out in armor. Most of our SCA events start soon though! :DDD

  • Pole arm exchange was useless I can't begin to see how no-one ive seen so far using polearms never see that their opponent always leaves their legs exposed the ran at each other madly and took much more time to end it then they should have a single swipe across the feet then a hack across the head would be the end of it

  • might want to look at some of Duke Palymar's polearm work then.

  • You DO realise, in SCA, below the knee is off-target?

  • Wow! I can't believe that they practice SCA "combat" there. That used to be the AEMMA venue. LOL!

  • do they have these in the states? and how old do i have to be?

  • Yes they have it everywhere. And you have to be 18 to fight this style

  • @calvin950 yes and 18 everywhere, except outlands where its 17

  • @ilikefishsticks1 HOWDY! just an Outlander here to point out that the age to start fighting here is 16 ;)

18 years old, been fighting for 2 year, and gotta say its awesome making old men pant...

    no that came out wrong...

  • @namvart ah nice, where at in the outlands?

  • @ilikefishsticks1 the Barony of al-Barran, the Albuquerque, NM area

  • @namvart nice, im leaving for the Navy but i used to be with citadel of the southern pass, El Paso, TX area, even tho i live in Alamogordo

  • Excellent pole arm exchange!

  • That was not an excellent poleam exchange!!!! They table to polearm tooo much leaving their heads open. They have no footwork, they just stand there throwing single shots.

  • I would have to agree, they say range is the most important, but to me footwork is. I try to move and come in at different angles. But nice work though, I am by no means any expert!

  • @HammerHeavy

    Range and footwork are cousins.

    Kissing cousins.

Cousins that slip each other the tongue.

  • @Caniswalensis lmao, that was funny and true.
