I have seen other videos where he was singing to the crowd. Maybe it's just these where he wasn't. Anyway, I'm being over critical since these guys are big time pros and i'm just a little drummer in a little band in a little town

Personally, I think the drumming is perfect and what makes them different than many heavy bands. He plays what's needed and leaves space for the guitars. He plays with more Bonham "groove" and less of the speed metal blast beat BS.
