  • Music credits - the "Pas d'Esclave" was added by Petipa to "Le Corsaire" in 1868 for the Ballerina Lyubov Radina. It is taken from his 1867 ballet "The Rose, The Violet & the Butterfly" to the music of Grand Duke Pyotr II Von Oldenburg (a.k.a. Prince Oldenburg). The female variation is by Cesare Pugni, taken from Petipa's 1860 ballet "The Blue Dahlia".

  • correction - the 1st variation was added to the "Pas d'Esclave" in 1914 by Pierre Vladimirov (Edward Villela's teacher & SAB) music is by Alexander Zibin. The female solo is from Mikhail Ivanov's score for Petipa's 1888 ballet "The Vestal".
