Chateau Noisy is a amazing castle. I love it so much. Its a Realy Fairytale Story. Thats not Spooky there, just beautiful. Beauty of Decay.

It´s not easy to believe.

Noisy is sadly not monument protected. Why?

When it would be protected by the government, the owner must renovate it, if he doesn`t he can get expropriated. According the "Decret Wallonie" to file an application for monument protection can be done by the owner himself, the community to which the building belongs, the mayor of the community, or 300 signatures of the inhabitants of the community. Why should they try it several times and accept the rejection?

I think they don't sell it, because they rent the place for people to hunt pheasants ( and also to hunt in the castle ), also on the other side of the estate there is a big residence. i think from the attendant. .

@jstnsrns I think it's also because it's in hands of the owner and he doesn't want to sell it, just like the owners of Mesen didn't want to sell their castle and let it abandoned. It's a pitty. They should take the castle out of their hands (I mean, that they aren't owner anymore) and restore them, or at least don't let it go worser.
