JeanMarc explained that his son had a "vanishing twin." Not sure I can explain it, but the twins are there on the sonogram one month, and the next, one of the twins is just gone--either absorbed into the other "stronger" twin or simply reabsorbed by the mother's body. For the parents who were first expecting two babies and now only one, it causes as much grief as a miscarriage.

I don't know what touched me more... the dancing or the judge... my twin daughters struggle every day to be seen as individuals... and they are eachothers most fierce competitor in their dance growth... but they always do a dance together so they have something to ground them back to each other... Good job! Beautiful!!

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that by "Vanishing twin", he means that his son has chimerism, a condition when the egg doesn't completely split or even split enough for conjoined twins. One baby is born, but with two strands of DNA. It may cause multiple personality disorder, 4 kidneys, or no symptoms at all. My grandfather had it, and he had four kidneys.

I think Jayme Rae has a good chance of going all the way. She reminds me of Jeanine. I think she has a lot of spunk and is probably one of the strongest female dancers in the competition. I have a feeling she is quite versatile too. Her 1st's week performance was amazing.
