I'm about 40 miles south of Edwards--the most known landmark in our area is Six Flags Magic Mountain park. Usually the whole house shakes when the shuttle lands--it feels like an earthquake.
Usually we hear a real loud sonic boom when the Space Shuttle lands at Edwards and the dogs go crazy. As you saw in the video, it was just a little boom this time, and Nike barely stirred.
God that thing has an ugly face when it sleeps.

How far off the ground track of this morning's ground track is Newhall (not familiar with that city/town)?? Are you close to Edwards?
