How this song could ever get a thumb down shocks me. One of the best songs I have EVER heard. (And I've heard alot.) Good to know that some bands these days can still give me eargasms.
@dejaentendu247 im not certain but i think he is putting the thumb down not to play a string but to mute the top strings for the open chords. i put my thumb down to mute E for chords Am, Dm, and i prefer to play F without the E also. like i said, i could be wrong but its a possiblity
can someone please tell me how he plays the chorus. i like the way it sounds better than the way i know how to play it but i cannot for the life of me figure out what he is playing.
Also, John is such a THUMBER!!! (Just FYI, I say these things with all the love in my heart)
