I mean,to me,my LT1 runs like a raped ape,gets ok mpg,starts every time on the first try (except for when my battery died) and hell $4000 for a 13 sec car is unbeatable.Throw headers,pulley,t/b bypass,gears,misc bolt ons,and maybe a cam,and an LT1 will take most any mild LS1 for still less than you could buy one in good shape.Or if you wanna get crazy,get a cheap LT1,bolt ons and a turbo kit or supercharger and it can rape any LS1 for +/- the price of a mint LS1 firehawk or SS.
