Both are great here but Jojo has some seriously bad posture and leans way to far to his left.That

creates a twist in the spinal cord.Maybe he's used to it.However,that's not how he teaches one to sit in his instructional DVD.I say to all those detractors out there who call Johnny Rabb "non musical or a robot", to watch his video's where he demo's the Roland SDP-SX.The

track called "Liquid" he's grooving.I don't see what all the fuss is? Both are top shelf who could play just about anything.

Jojo mayer is the best drummer that has ever played the instrument. he may not be as far AHEAD of his time as the greats were of their time, but as far as collected skill and the highest pinnacle achievement of groove, chops and technique, he is it.

One of the nice things to see with jojo mayer is that he doesn't try to overwhelm the beat with heaps of every drum, unless he's showing off in a demonstration, when he's doing music, he's pretty keen to stick with just the basics and making it sound really good. I think the johnny rabb sample wasn't too flattering of him in this instance.

Jojo Mayer is the better drummer in my opinion due to his all around skills (power, polish, creativity, and independence). However, I prefer Johnny Rabb because of the fact that he is not only playing drums, but also composing live alone, as evidenced in videos with him using Roland TD kits. Jojo has not used Roland, nor does he play double bass, plus he still works with other musicians. Rabb doesn't play traditional, but I think he is the better musician, as opposed to only being a drummer.
