  • Wow, this is good.

  • I wish at least 1/3 of all people in the United States had the anointing of the Holy Ghost Keith had. You'd see a lot of things be much different

  • Keith Green had such passion, such conviction, such urgency. I want to be like that.

  • this is amazing music. I'm so glad I ran across it.

  • The first time I watched Keith Green's videos, I was so spiritually moved that after I went to bed that night I woke up at 2:30am and couldn't go back to sleep at all that night. May the power of Jesus so move in our OWN lives that we act boldly as Keith did in ways that Glorify God and point others to Christ as Keith did. God bless you, brother.

  • Wow Keith Green! He was a true icon to life . . .

  • Tell everyone we can be born again! bornagainshirtsdotcom

  • It's so beautiful that decades after his death Keith Green's faith remains alive, inspiriing us and leading us to a closer relationship with Jesus. Amazing witness that just keeps on through his music.

  • Jesus is LORD!!! Praise His name!

  • “I will never forget your guiding principles, because you gave me a new life through them.”

  • I love you, Keith. Thank you:)

  • Thank you ... He asked me to sit next to him on the piano seat in a little church packed nowhere left to sit ... while He worshiped and sang this song ... Praying in the middle of the songs for people in the audience without missing a beat ... 1977 Kansas. This song has been an awesome blessing and reminder for me to keep walking and praying for anyone Yeshua Ha Mashiach - -- the Massiah leads anytime anywhere ...

  • God bless you so richly for putting this on YouTube! It's awesome! Love in Jesus, Choirwoman and Exmobro

  • If any of you people would like to be friends with someone who longing for christian friends, my facebook name is: Ben Meter. Or type in my email address: jmeter1@juno.com.

  • All I see is Jesus!

  • God's got a very fancy piano in heaven with the name Keith Green written on it i bet.

  • @BaconatorXVI No, his piano would have the name Jesus written on it. Keith never wanted the focus to be on him.

  • How sad, he recorded this the same year he was killed.

  • JESUS is gonna change your life!

  • I can't wait to meet Jesus and Keith in heaven. It will be an amazing, awesome, eternal party.

  • best part starts at 4:14

  • JUST CRY

THEN LISTEN AND CRY SOME MORE WITH ANNE HERRING AND 2ND CHAPTER OF ACTS

  • Thank You Keith for sharing!! Praise God!! And THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He is up in paradise, singing his beautiful praises to our Lord Jesus as we down here on earth are remembering Jesus' resurrection. Our God is an Awesome God, and I thank Him for changing and inspiring the lives of those like Keith Green who can be an upliftment and inspiration and perfect example of Christ's love to others

  • Thanks for sharing this video! What a beautiful performance by a man who obviously was singing from his heart! Ron

  • I used to go there all the time. I loved that place and he and Jamie Owens Collins were so human and so great. I sang this with him there!!!!!

  • Wow. What a wonderful surprise to find on this Resurrection Day 2011! Keith Green with the only message that is and will remain the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.

  • timeless powerful truth thru a man who gave his life so that we in those ealry years would know Jesus in a timeless powerful timeless way,,Jim

  • Thank you, He has risen indeed.

  • what honesty in a song! Good morning world! Jesus has risen and youre chasing bunnies and eggs instead of souls and truth! :-) He is Risen! bottom line. Either Jesus was the greatest con artist or God in man form!

  • Thanks for sharing this with us again!

  • The scripture on Keith's grave stone says it all, "...unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." - John 12:24. While Keith's death was certainly a tragedy from a human perspective the fruit produced from it has exceeded what Keith himself could have imagined. Even in the death of his servant, God is glorified and his word goes forth.

  • @dignankumar Powerful post! Thanks, I'm brand new to Keith Green's music, which is right now overwhelming my spirit..

  • Our life is a legacy

  • Why would anyone come to a video like this to try to argue against it's message or the existence of God? It's the ultimate hubris. If you have 100% confidence that you're right, you're a fool, because you who demand proof for everything have no proof on which to base your 100% confidence. And if you have less than 100% confidence, you're also a fool, because if you're wrong, you will stand before God to answer for attempting to lead people away from him. (Matthew 18:6). What arrogance.

  • We love you Keith Green! Hope you're havin a great Easter up in Heaven! :)

  • To learn the truth about Jesus and his rise from death, go to TruthContest (dot)com and read The Present (with religion). Show this to others instead of perpetuating deception and myth this Easter.

  • it is Easter RIGHT NOW !!!!!

  • I have always loved this song, and the ministry Keith Green was used by God to provide us! :)

  • Did not Keith Green did this one it is a beautiful song

  • @trixie216..... you said there were lots and lots of gods who had virgin births, etc., prior to Christianity. Really. How come that any one of those hasn't got millions upon millions of people who have given their lives to those "gods", 2,000 years afterwards. Your arguments against Christianity only prove the case for it..... Jesus started off 2,000 years ago, by Himself. Had a few followers, now, 2,000 years later, millions. Funny that, for a myth!!

  • One of the most beautiful memories I have of my youth was going to see Keith Green at Bradley Field House on the campus of Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. This was back in 1982, just a few months before his death. I almost said tragic death, but I don't think Keith sees it that way, he's at home with Jesus.

    I love this music.

To respond to earlier posts, see the writings of Josephus, Tacitus or Lucian or even the Talmud for references to the historical Jesus.

  • @JGCDISTRIBUTING You're right. Tragedy involves unfulfilled promise or a flaw that brings down the protagonist. Keith's story has neither. We wish he could have stayed on, writing, performing and ministering, but look at the body of work he did leave. He crammed more into his short 28 years than a lot of people do in 78. And his flaws, like ours, are covered by our Lord. So yeah, sad but not tragic. Triumphant.

  • Jesus was so beautiful in you, Keith!!!

  • Here's a guy who wasn't shy. JESUS there I said HIS NAME! His names means Saviour. Yours and mine.

  • I admire this guy so much. He is not afraid to say it how it is.... .he speaks Jesus's name without fear of being ridiculed by the majority. :-))) His faith and conviction is so deep.

  • yeh know....ya know....ye no

  • 8 Dislikes????

What kind of troll dislikes this?

  • I'm a performing gospel artist, have travelled the world and seen more miracles and salvations utilizing Keiths music than any other I perform. When I start singing His music, the whole atmosphere changes, no matter the people or country

  • If Jesus does not exist, you wanna explain to me who or what change my life? I did? Ha ha, no way! Without Him, I would still be sitting in the dumpsters. Praise Him!

  • Im so thrilled this is to view .. Keith is in Heaven.. and he's happY!! and yet.. his music and book(s) still reach the lost.. Praise God!!

  • @Bubleone1 Yep! What a legacy of Salvation! I can't wait to meet him in Heaven.

  • god is cool. not sure too much about jeesus.

  • @turtlesandboxx they are the same, God is three in one, Father Spirit Son. The Holy Trinity. Jesus is the Son, God is the Father, and the Spirit is the Holy Spirit.

  • I cannot wait to meet him in HEAVEN

  • I'm praying for the 8 people who actually dislike this video....may Jesus show you His love, power, forgiveness and mercy!!

  • I remember I heard him sing this in a church in '78. I was a new Christian, and he was handing out little green New testaments. I got my first Bible from him. He was truly amazing on the piano and vocals. Too bad we shared that nasty faith. Glad I've been free of it now for twenty years, but his music is still great.

  • @216trixie: What happened trixie? I take it your Christianity didn't last.

  • @ivanhale After about twelve years, I woke up.

  • @216trixie: I checked out your site. I think you are not awake as you say. I also checked the context of some of the verses you illustrate. I believe that (to a careful viewer) the importance of the concept that "intent is prior to content," is made menifest in you. I'm sorry that you got wrapped up in a form of Christianity (perhaps charismaticism) that amounted to nonsense, and that it destroyed you. There's plenty of nonsense out there I have encountered it myself, and it irks me.

  • @ivanhale Any Christianity, or any religion, in any form, amounts to nonsense. I "fellowshipped" with Baptists, Pentecostals, Catholics, Presbyterians and everyone in between. Knew lots of good, well meaning people like myself, and probably you. And, nothing has ever "destroyed me". I have no idea where you got that idea. Been free of faith for twice as long as I was a believer, and i'll tell you, you are brainwashed, as I was. You're not a sinner. You're not bad or evil. End of story.

  • Comment removed

  • @216trixie You said that it amounts to "nonsense".

It all comes down to the bodily resurrection of Jesus. Did it happen?

Unfortunately you, just as the Romans & Jewish leaders, cannot produce the body and put an end to the rumors once for all. If you could, I would gladly agree with you...in fact, I would be your biggest fan.

  • @kornykorhorn Because the bones of a probably mythical 2,000 year old man cannot be produced, is no reason to believe he rose from the dead, or did any of the things mentioned in the nasty Bible. That's just the same as saying because no one has captured Santa Claus, that he's real.

  • @216trixie "mythical" is such BS. Only people from the USA would think such a stupid thing. Nice try.

In fact, just because I've heard your stupid argument before, I asked a Jewish man in Israel (while I was studying there) if he thought Jesus was mythical. He, not being a Christian, laughed, and said, "That is such a Western thing. Of course Jesus existed."

I asked a Rabbi the same question. His response was, "He did, but may his name be erased from history."

    You are dishonest or nieve.

  • @kornykorhorn Wow. You met a couple of people who think that Jesus must have been real. Wow. That's enough evidence for me.....Not..... Actually, Jesus may have existed, but there's no evidence he did. In fact there's a lot of evidence that Jesus was the name given to a "savior", created in writing. There were lots and lots of prior "gods" and "sons" of gods before Jesus, who: was born a virgin birth, born at x-mas, had disciples, was crucified, rose again, etc.... Very common story.

  • @216trixie

Where's your "evidence" for this...or is that just something you heard someone say one time. There is more evidence that Jesus existed than for many other things taken as historical fact. The idea of "virgin birth" in other stories is tangential at best - assumptions made about the stories presented in pictographs. Saying others were born at "x-mas" doesn't even make sense. There were thousands crucified, only one with the claim of being resurrected.

  • @216trixie you are nothing more than an uneducated troll. Any person who is not a complete moron can find that there is tons of extra-biblical evidence of Jesus. Go take your gloom somewhere else and rain on somebody else's parade you knucklehead. David wrote about you when he wrote, "Only fools say in their hearts, "There is no God." They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good!"

May the Lord have mercy one your soul if you do not repent.

  • @evetsegap I'm unaware of any extra-biblical evidence of Jesus. What evidence is that?

  • @216trixie its called faith,.. and look around,.. can u explain the mysteries of the worlds,...

  • @216trixie True, there are pre-dated stories of a virgin birth, etc. I know that.

However, Jesus was NOT born December 25th, that is pretty obvious to all the Christians I know. In fact, it may be a replacement/redemption of some pagan festival...for all I know. It doesn't really matter to me.

Yes, there were many of deities worshipped before Jesus. I agree. But there is still a significant difference. Jesus actually lived.

Question-is most of your info from "Zeitgeist" video?

  • @HaleluYahuShua Do you have a Scripture reference for this?

  • i gave it to you above also col 2:8 , and scriptures regarding keeping The Feasts of The Lord read 1 Cor 5:7, 1 Cor 5:8, YahuShua also kept the Holy Days of The Lord (passover, unleavened bread etc) see Luke 22:19-20 and see 1 cor 11:1, 1 john 2:6 , 1 peter 2:21 > but Read The Study that i said above and read What God is Saying NOW > TrumpetCallofGodOnline(dotcom)

  • @HaleluYahuShua We may be bypassing one another here. What was the original point of the discussion, I may have missed something. BTW- I appreciate that you go to Scripture for discussion.

  • @kornykorhorn i gave it to you above also col 2:8 , and scriptures regarding keeping The Feasts of The Lord read 1 Cor 5:7, 1 Cor 5:8, YahuShua also kept the Holy Days of The Lord (passover, unleavened bread etc) see Luke 22:19-20 and see 1 cor 11:1, 1 john 2:6 , 1 peter 2:21 > but Read The Study that i said above and read What God is Saying NOW > TrumpetCallofGodOnline(dotcom)

  • Meet him - heck, I want to sing with the guy up there....

  • This song makes me ache to be with the Lord. I am ready!!!

  • Keith Green on Youtube and Facebook...loooooove it!

  • This song brings tears to my eyes :)

  • it amazes me how relevent this is still today..God's messege and Gods love never changes!

  • this song should be a hymm in church.

  • @AMARILLO333 "Those who knowingly celebrate Easter and its deplorable traditions, hate My resurrection, says The Lord."

MORE regarding Easter and the like:

God's Holy Days Vs. Man's Holidays: see TrumpetCallofGodOnline(dotcom) and it will be in the Bible/Letter Studies ( also see what The Lord is saying in The Letters regarding 'easter' by doing a google wordsearch which is found on the top left hand side of the main page.

also the Lord wants everyone to come ot of the churches of men

  • @HaleluYahuShua: Sola Scriptura Dude. I reject your non biblical nonsense, even if some of it is true. It is at best unncessary and at worst, the work of a false prophet.

  • @ivanhale Matthew 12:40

"For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." therefore 'easter' ( which is a pagan godess of the babylonians 'ishtar' ) is false because there is NO >> third night << , a false prophet wont care and celebrate easter anyway, because they hate His ressurection even though they know the truth.

  • Me too! HALLELUYAH!!!!

  • saw keith at vanderbilt while i was in high school....dude was awsome and he was real....

  • Just the pure joy that emanates from this song as Keith sings it is just absolutely overpowering. Worship songs of today lack the joy, conviction, and knowledge of God that Keith's songs have. Someone once told me that "Lord, You're beautiful" was the only good song Keith ever wrote and I wanted to cry, because they are missing so much. Why won't my church sing THIS song instead of a metaphoric mess of a song about Heaven and earth and a sloppy wet kiss!?!?!?

  • How wonderful to hear this song again and Keith....someday soon we will all be singing in glory togeher.....I thank God for this man's love for Yeshua. Then and now and forever

  • @laffingdukk

One final point, Jeremiah 31:31-35 and Joel 2 have already been fulfilled, see Acts 2. From the beginning, blood has always been used to cover or wash away sin (Gen. 3:21). Even a virgin sheds blood on her wedding night! The Gospel is about the sacrifice of the Lamb of God (Heb. ch 9; Gen 22:9-18; Isaiah 1:18 & ch. 53) and His resurrection. Just like in Exodus 12:7 & 13, Jesus stands at the door and knocks (Rev 3:20). Let Him in to paint with His blood and cleanse your heart.

  • @laffingdukk

As for a pagan religion, please don't mistake Mary worship, idols and other doctrines of devils as Christianity. As for the trinity, it's not an easy subject to grasp in light of Deut 6:4. Yet we have Psalm 2 and 110. Matthew 22 and John 1. Jesus is the I AM, the Everlasting Father, Jacob's ladder, the Resurrection and the Life, and in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Jesus is the Word made flesh. I expect to see ONE Lord of Lords & King of Kings in heaven.

  • @laffingdukk

I read you post about converting to Judaism. I just wanted to point some things out and give you some food for thought and prayer. Please remember not to judge Jesus by Christians. We're not perfect only He is. Remember that Christianity really isn't a religion. We're really just follows of Christ, fulfilled Jews, grafted into the tree of Jesse. As Keith sang, "You are divine and we are da-branch." Read Romans 11, in fact read all of Romans and Hebrews too. Good stuff.

  • @MrSteveJW Also, Christians never claim to be perfect, or superior to non-Christians. We realize that we need salvation.

  • Been a Christian for many, many years. I've met Phil Keaggy a few times, seen him and 2nd Chapter of Acts in concert many times. I miss the "old" days, but the music of Keith Green is the most inspirational of all and fits on just four CDs. How I wish we had more, but looking forward to hearing more of his worship music on the other shore!

Easter Song and The Victor are such vivid songs proclaiming the victory Jesus won. Praise the living Lord Jesus Christ!

  • my I ask what do you believe in?

  • Went to Christian Schools, Church twice a week...yet it was Keith;s songs that made me the Christian I am today. I understand shy GOD wanted him up in heaven to direct the choir. Thank you ♥

  • Still resonating with the power of God after all these years! Keiths ministry continues on Earth...

  • Keith was the real deal.....

  • to 77grmason: If you once believed and came to faith in Jesus the Christ the one and only true God, you are still a Christian. No one can separate us from the love of God, not even you. See many scriptures (e.g., Rom. 8; Jn 3; it is eternal life, not temporary. If you believed, He'll never let you go, and I suspect you know this. Thank Him and come to Him in humility and repentance and gratefulness for His goodness to you, His child if you had genuine faith at one time. --BR

  • @bob925abc right on!

  • @bob925abc The love of God is refering not to salvation but to love. Even if you walk away from God He will still love you. And the Bible also says that only he who endures to the end will be saved. And also if you look at the parable of the seven virgins. Jesus is refering to people who are saved falling from God. That why Jesus says I dont know you instead of saying I never knew you. Dont meaning He once did and doesnt now.

  • @electricguitarplayr - sorry my friend but you are mistaken....enduring to the end and the virgins are Jewish references regarding the kingdom promised to them.....the kingdom required repentance and performance...not so with the gospel of grace....praise God that we are justified by the faith and resurrection of Christ....God still loves people He sends to hell?....interesting.....God has redeemed all things through the blood of His cross...rejoice...

  • @fowzie777 I totally think that God loves the people He sends to Hell. How could He not? Is His love for us dependent on us loving Him first? Does the father love the prodigal son only because he returns home, or does he love him because he is his father? I think that God sending people to Hell IS one of the greatest acts of love imaginable. He's giving us what we've been asking for all our lives, which is seperation from Him, even at the expense of breaking His own heart.

  • @mikeyseaver he dose love them, and it hurts him to send them to hell.

  • @Darva4 Our culture often forgets the HOLINESS of God. Yes God loves, but...I believe, at His core, He is holy.

  • i wanted to play on lpso

  • Love this song!

  • This is a great, great song! I listen to it all the time.

  • I'm not even a christian anymore but think his music and espec piano playing is beautiful. i listened to it in childhood

  • @laffingdukk may i ask why you walked away from being a Christian??

  • @Darva4 Well it wasn't something I ddi lightly, and I can say that I haven't walked away from God. I learned Hebrew and began studying the Hebrew scriptures and began viewing the new testament in light of them, instead of the other way around. And I believe Christianity as it is today is a pagan religion, and I am fairly certain Jesus is not the Moshiach prophesied by the Jews. I have decided to convert to Judaism, and I have never been more plugged in my own and God's spirit in my life.

  • @Darva4 but i do love the piano playing and the tunes and the good association I have with Keith Green, and the 2nd Chapter of Acts as well. I love those guys. Just don't agree with their religious beliefs.

  • Keith was incredible. His music timeless!!!

  • I remember how sad i was when he died in the plane crash. I was really young. I was raised during the Jesus music generation and have fond memories of it.

  • This is terrific Thank you

  • Wow! I never get over how talented this vessle was! Keith! You were so blessed! Thanks for blessing us!

  • My favourite Christian artist. Come and hear about Jesus' blood on the Ark of the Covenant. Human male with human mother but not human father. We are that close to the end. Hit my link and come and hear.

  • The very first Christian contemporary song I had ever heard. I bought the cassette right away...it was Annie Herring and the 2nd Chapter of Acts. So timeless.

  • Keith Green's music reached into my heart and brought me to the alter before God to accept Jesus as Lord. All this many years after his death. Someday I will sing with him before the throne of God!

  • @asimpleheartcrying COOL!!!

  • I wish they have the video of him when he went to oral roberts univ. and preached and sang and people came up to the mic and were repenting of there sins and keith got under the piano and let the Holy Spirit do his job...that was so awesome...its all in his book "No Compromise" and if u never read it i really urge you to get it along with the cross and the switchblade and run baby run.. david wilkerson story and nicy cruz auto....grace and peace

  • I absolutely love this man and his music.....

  • @SELAHPAUSE

I discovered Keith Green about 2 months ago. What a find! I could hardly believe that I had never heard of this man before. He has been a large part of my life these past 2 months!

  • A cool guy who liked cheeseburgers, just like you !!!!

  • Great word before the song. God wants us to be born again and He has made it possible through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ. Praise God!

  • Keith Green is still amazing, and I can't wait to meet him in Heaven....

  • @OMGCMP me too OMGCMP!

  • He took the gospel not only to the new Christian and the "already churched", but also out into the literal marketplace, telling the "good news" (gospel), literally making disciples, as Christ commanded. What a dynamic life and testimony!

  • Happy Homegoing Keith! Thank you for always pointing us to Jesus.

  • i dont think Ive heard a worship leader as great as he is. I wish I had been alive when he was. My mom used to play these songs when I was little, and Ive always associated worship music with being safe and loved. Im so thankful that Kieth Green's music hasnt died and that people still can hear this message, cause its timeless.

  • God, it is hard to believe on the 28th of July, 2010... it will be 28 years since we lost Keith Green. Thank you Keith for bringing me back to the Lord.

  • Brethren, think about when we'll be in Heaven with all our families, all our loved ones, our friends, those who will give their lives to Christ, so millions and billions of people living forever with us, and Jesus Christ in heaven, praising God, singing all the most beautiful songs that can exist! Forever! <3

  • im scared of heresy :( but im sure God will guide me :)

  • @CallmeMell,

    Yes me too.

  • Way way back in the 70's Bren and I laid our lives at the feet of Jesus. This was some of the early Christian music of our time... Still relevant today.. I miss those days...

  • Long after Keith has passed, he still blesses/ inspires people with music and his passion for the Lord... I pray that God may set our hearts a blaze that we leave a legacy of love, passion and purity that continues to inspire long after our passing...

  • Wow!

  • Hallelujah, what an amazing guy Keith was. We need more people like him. After all these years I am still touched by his music and words. He still blesses us.

  • Can you imagine this guy leading your church in worship!! Keith Green was, and continues to be, AMAZING!!!!!

  • Alleluia! Surrexit sicut dixit!!!!!! Nunc et semper!!!!!!

  • I try to play this song every Easter...crank up the volume and remember Jesus and when I heard Keith play this one in a tiny church in Coos Bay, Oregon.

  • I saw Keith Green at csun in 1983. It was,and still is a life changing experience! Thank God I found him again on you tube. We are all blessed by his gift.

  • @xdgtrel Keith was killed in a plane crash during the summer of 1982. Maybe you have the wrong year? It has been a while back. I remember being in Haiti on a Teen Missions team when we learned Keith had gone to his reward. God used Keith (especially his "Final Message") to point me to the mission field. I'm a missionary to the poor in Manila Philippines.

  • oh my gosh, what a talent for the Lord. Thank you Lord for changing Keith Green to serve you and bless us all! gives me goose bumps watching him on the piano and sing and worship....

  • lol
