  • Video is good...but her strokes with her hands are incorrect. Doing upward strokes she needs to think of hand mechanics...her wrists will be blown out soon going up sideways with her hands.

  • But, Carole, if she has edema massage is contraindicated, except for lymphatic drainage.  I've been a clinical massage therapist for 10 years, and in my training and teaching edema means "hands off" so as not to force fluid through tissues, thus causing microscopic tears.
