Kenny Kirkland - Technically brilliant and musically interesting . And he was so far in the pocket that he was actually in your sock. RIP Mr Kirkland...
Sting is one of my favorite musicians, but the skin tight leather pants, combat boots and black tight leotard tank top is totally gay. He's been hanging around too many euro-trash designers. Dude, get back to The Secret Policeman's Ball.
He looks amazing. But, who gives a f*** anyway? I wish people just listened to music instead of focusing on superficial stuff like leather patns and tank tops...
LOL! ~ poor Sting! True tho! If natures red in tooth and claw Like winters freeze and summers thaw The wounds she gave me Were the wounds that would heal me And wed be like the moon and sun And when our courtly dance had run Its course across the sky Then together we would lie And out of the confusion Where the river meets the sea Something new would arrive Something better would arrive
no way he looks gay. it may look skin tight, but he's always on the slim side, and the pants are definately not skin tight.
anyway he has always changed his image all the time. jamaican punk rocker in the 70s, long hair zen buddhist in the 80s, then his hair went long and short, he wore everything from business suits to tie string pants. he even grew out his beard in the recent police concerts...so anyone guess what's he up to next
look here you mooks with your oh this aint no stairway(that bloated crap) and oh its so so LISTEN UP! this song is a poetic harmonic masterpiece. nuff said wanna beess
This is one of my favorite Sting songs (one of many). This song has an excellent melody and counter round like melody. I love the percussion and it works well with the unusual time signature. This performance, with a full band and brass is excellent. I love it all. lol
it ain't no STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN. i am not even a big sting fan and can think of several tunes of his i like better. i enjoyed this clip more for the musicians skill [and for sting's singing] than anything else.
En lo personal, me gusta bastante la canción pero la preferiría con una base ritmica mas latina, mas brasileira, y creo que el ensamble es innecesariamente grande
Do y'all realize the time signature for this tune is 7/4. Count it. It's a pretty atypical beat--remarkable in fact that these guys can jam over it come the solo section; remarkable in fact that Sting can write a tune over it that sounds so 'normal.' Talent.
Brilliant album. Sting your a genius

I'd say Sting can wear whatever he wants, as long as he keeps making such beautiful music.

That's nothing, check out Keep it Greasey by Frank Zappa featuring Vinnie going beserk in 19/16 for about 4 or 5 minutes. Awesome tune.

no doubt, zappa is original and genious, but
except for don't eat the yellow snow, his songs sung on odd time groove do not make the impression of easy listening
