Fats is unique! But mr. John ?: no comment 'cause this is fantastic ! If you don't get the thrill by listening this version you have to visit Dr. John
@islisboys Its on the double CD "Goin`Home A Tribute To Fats Domino" with a lot of great artist like John Lennon, BB King, Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Norah Jones Neil Young, Willie Nelson etc. Run and bay!
@hagyspasher Nobody can do "Blueberry Hill" like Mr. Fats Domino ! Thats why they call him Mr. Blueberry Hill. Without Fats, it would not be any Elton John.
@AinesFlynn It was first recorded by Gene Autry in 1941, it's later been covered by Louis Armstrong, Fats Domino, Elvis Presley, Little Richard and Elton John.
lol... The King is better IMHO

What an awesome version. Did Elton do a whole album of Fats Domino music?
bulbheadmyass 7 months ago
No, this is Elton's only contribution to the album. It's a GREAT double album of various artists doing Fats songs. Many great songs!!!! Get it! :o)
