  • It really is kind of bizarre looking at some of these video clips today when I am not chubby any longer - my magic pill is DietOramy surplus weight reduction plan (search Google) - that thing honestly taught me to be completely transform my entire body, well being and my whole life.

  • Hey there... Have you ever used DietOramy eating plan (google it)? I have discovered a number jaw dropping things about this plus my uncle got rid of a substantial amount of excessive fat with it.

  • funny but good point

  • hey hey! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin got really defined 6 pack abs and lost a truck load of of fat with it.

  • @myman78 Totally agree with you there, I also tried the site WeightLossAction.info diet programs and I'm already seeing interesting results. Glad it worked for you, too!

  • Hello there! Have you tried intellectus 424 diet (search on google)? Ive heard some great things about it and my friend lost a ton of weight with it.

  • great video. very important information.very helpful.

  • very nice tutorial i love it

  • Awesome video. Kkeep up the good work...awesome!

  • i guess ill accidentally whack my nuts if i swing that kettleball

  • Good thing I don't like coffee or coffee products, or like to drink my calories. The kettlebell snatch looks hard to me.

  • Umm first of all just because you eat 1000 calories doesnt mean that you gain 1000 calories worth of fat, if you maintain being active your body will simply digest those 1000 calories.

  • @ilerad yeah, but they're talking about the calories we eat above what we need to maintain our weight. I need about 2500 to maintain my weight, so just by having that 1000 calorie snack every day above my normal meals, I could gain 2 pounds of fat per week (now of course, if I work out, some of those calories will go to repairing muscle tissue as well as filling up my glycogen reserves, but it's really not that many calories).

  • Ten minute snatch test with a 16kg bell ( 35lb ) total 115 right hand and 112 left hand.

Wonder how many calories that is ?

  • That is an excellent example of don't eat this but do that. KB snatches are one of the highest calorie expenditure exercises out there, and probably the best total body exercise and that crap that that guy was eating and drinking is why there are 300lb people walking around who aren't NFL lineman. I like the idea that it brings forth.

  • isnt that a snatch, not a swing....i'm confused

  • ok wow i knew it wasent good for you but crap.. i mean i just went to work out today then im like well i worked out i can go get a snack i never really thought that snack just wasted my whole workout.. kinda sad in essece have to give up everything good almost but by doing this you gain so much more.

  • Agghhh! My Groin!

  • This is lazer targeted information. Guaranteed result within 7 day for weight loss. myweight-loss.info

  • thanks for this - you really put things into perspective. well illustrated!

  • I hope that was one of Brad's fasting days xD

  • This is awesome!! this is right on target ,I have been preaching this to my friends, "you cant up train a bad diet", but the reverse is true with a great diet your workout results are multiplied.

  • O O

     o

  • these video's are extremely flawed.

    1. Increasing your heart rate for a sustained period of time increases your metabolic rate. People on average exercise for a longer period of time then it takes to finish a simple meal

    2. Daily bodily functions burn calories, your body can't breath pump blood and move you from the couch to the fridge without requiring some energy. These videos fail to mention resting metabolic rate. Heck, it takes calories for his body to warm up the iced drink he's having

  • @eun0ia You are correct in what you are saying, but I think you are missing the point of the videos. Their overall program addresses what you are talking abut, but they are trying to wake people up to the reality of what they eat compared to their real activity level.

  • @SBDCouncil Totally agree!!!

  • Hi, @eun0ia , you are absolutly right about people in the gym exercising much longer than that and about the resting metabolic rate. Yet, you can work in the gym for hours- 20 min on the treadmill, 20 on the crosstrainer, 20 on the stairmaster, 20 on a bike, burn let's say 400 calories, even if I'm overestimating a bit-, you can have a 2300 calorie resting metabolic rate and still not be able to lose fat, just because your calorie intake is still way too high. Diet&exercise (no cardio) win!!!

  • @antoheionn

2,300 BMR? Yeah, if you're a solid 210lb+ man, and by solid I mean 10% body fat or less.

I think they should mention in the videos (especially this frappuccino one for women) something like this:

"So, Brad just consumed 1,100 calories of mostly sugar and fats. Your average 5'6" women should probably only be consuming 1,500 calories total each day to maintain her current body weight. Another small brownie and a half is all she gets to eat for the rest of the day."

  • @Pube83

Hi, the 2300 BMR was just an example. The idea behind this videos is to convince people that they need a good nutrition plan or diet in order to lose fat. That simply going to the gym will never get the job done.

About the brownie part- no one can hope to last ONE day while eating only that. They'll give in to hunger, sooner or later. That's absolutley not what these videos are about =)))

  • @antoheionn

Oh believe me, I know. After several years of eating crap and not stepping foot in a gym (I used to work out a lot up until an injury in 05), I joined last October. I lost a quick 10lbs, then plateaued. I kept working out, but wasn't committed to changing my diet or logging what I ate.

  • @Pube83

Just in the last month have I started a proper diet plan with no junk at all (40/30/30, 2,000cal), and got a good 5-day split for lifting. I feel like I'm taking excess vitamins , but I guess the average person doesn't take any (multi, B, C, D, E, fish oil and a joint formula). I take some caffeine and arginine pre-workout, whey and dex/malto post. I feel like a new person. And I'm losing 4-5lbs a week while getting stronger (despite the calorie deficit and weight loss).

  • @Pube83

4-5 lbs a week is awesome!!! Congrats on your succes so far!!

  • These are the best eye opening videos I have watched. Great Job you all

  • dont drink your calories!!!

  • I found out about a year ago about the frap and capps and tht is crazy

  • this video series is GREAT! I work with Herbalife International and all this information lines up with what we teach. Thanks guys.

  • This is the best way you could possibly show anybody how crappy the average American diet is and why people struggle to lose weight without targeting there diets properly. GREAT SERIES !!!

  • OMG!!!! Im NEVER having a Frappuchino again!!!

  • awsome video....

  • oh alright he said at the end of the video snatches. still form was off making the snatch easier so.

  • lol and another thing... errr he's not really doing an exercise, on snatches you don't use that much momentum, you go from straight hang to overhead on kb swings you don't bend your arm and you use both arms so.... lol

  • well first off lol kettlebell swings are more effective two handed. Second ask a crossfitter you CAN keep them up I can do 1.5 pood kettlebell swings for 30+ reps straight then rest for less than a minute and do a little less. its all in conditioning.

  • Is Brad trying to gain weight?? I mean...he gets to eat all those foods...

  • i think he's just trying to make a point..

At the same time enjoying his food

    lol~~~ But he's gonna get a bit

chunky from making too many of

these videos.. But atleast its a good

    video!

  • mcdonalds doesn't tasete like food to me any more and when i do have it i have chips no salt chiken burger no mayo only lettuce and a still water instead of the usual coke and this is once every 2 weeks and i dont even miss the junk food i only have it if there isnt another choice like being at work and all they do in the canteen is cheese meal which is even worse.

  • I would think it's mostly people that don't really care about health and wheight that mindlessly would consume that kind of "meal" as a snack every day. Or at least I hope so. It's sad to see so many people not caring for their health and well-being..

  • How about a series on the relative calorie/fat burning value of various types of workouts--Tabata sprints, HIIT, steady state cardio, weight lifting, olympic lifts, cross training, etc.

  • Inspirational ! Your message was very clear and entertaining. Thank you. Now I will start again !

  • I use to eat cereal in th morning fruit in the afternoon and then whatever i wanted in the evening after my exercise and I lost 1st in 3 weeks. so as long as you keep to your exercising you can still burn fat as long as you stick to it everyday. Don't let everyone fear you into starving yourself.

  • No one wants you to starve. Just don't eat garbage. You could eat three cheeseburgers to make that one coffee and brownie.

  • 3 cheeseburgers = one coffee and brownie?

  • A medium sized cheeseburger could have as little as 320 calories. He said the coffee and brownie made 1100 calories. So you could eat a cheeseburger everyday and not gain weight.

  • AWESOME!

  • what you dont fuckin realize is that when you exercise , you are burning FAT calories. while the guy there is consuming calories form carbs , protein , fat and everything else. So the thing to do is limit the FAT calorie intake.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah I think it's pretty clear that consuming that many empty calories such be viewed with caution, even if you do fast. But once in the while for the sake of making a point isn't going to do any harm (not to mention it would be quite enjoyable to have permission to binge like that). No enri3, sadly no one has ever mailed me pizza. You can be the first person if you want.

  • oh, and mailmepizza, does anyone ever mail you pizza? i would.

  • it IS sad to see people eat this way and then feel terrible from sugar crash, and worse that ball and chain around their midsection. now, im gonna get my hand on a copy of your book and read it over a brownie and milk :)

  • Hard to describe...basically a dense and chewy chocolate cake?

  • big ups to brad for consuming a shitload of calories for the benefit of others.

please tell me he purges this shite.

  • brad fasts, so according to his program (I haven't read his book but I've seen his blog and get his emails) he doesn't care what he eats on his non fasting days, lol. Funny video, best part was the middle guy ridiculing the 35 pound dumbbell.

  • One brownie would have been fine with me. Two Brownies and a GIANT coffee is a little much even by my standards.

Sad thing is I see people eat this everyday in their cars while they are commuting to work.

  • No Purging, but definitely won't be having anything that sweet for a while.

I'm still shocked at how easily that many calories were consumed.

  • My mistake...John downed some burgers and fries in another video!

  • I want to fill in for Brad next time I'm in Ontario. I'm thinking buffalo wings and beer.

John needs to quit slacking and down some food as well!

  • There is it folks! You can't (that is CAN NOT) out train a bad diet! So true Craig, so true! :-) Thanks for the laughs.

  • Excellent concept

  • i think these videos are excellent. the only downside i see is not somewhat knowing how many calories u truly burn doing an exercise

  • These guys are good. If you make that comparison in a powerpoint and email it around, it would be great and you may get some good publicity.

  • hahaha, i love these videos, and how you're helping us learn, but poor brad!

  • Love it! Great set of video's Craig, really helps to show what an important factor diet is and how hard it can be to burn off those excessive calories!

    TOM Godwin

  • "Get some of that brownie into ya!"nD

  • I looked up my caloric intake for weight loss: 1760 calories.

The frappucino would be nearly the entire diet for the day

    wow

  • In case you Can't tell at about 0:57 I had the WORST brain freeze!

  • This is such a great series of videos! Such a strong message that is finally conceptualized through video.

  • Mate Brad definitely has the best end of the deal.... kind of. Hope he had a fast after that.

  • Nice, this should really help people visualize how fast calories go in and how slow they are used up.
