@albondeb; "totally racist and offensive, "ill be your dog" only at gunpoint. Idiots"
Yeah, I can see how some people might see that the imagery is a bit stereotypical, but it's kind of complicated by the fact that the person the crow is saying "I'll be your dog" to is a little *black* boy.
Unless you thought that the crows represented white people or something and it was biased against them, I dunno... (^_^)
Oh will people give up using the damn racist card. Half of you pc nut jobs these days haven't a clue what racist is, perhaps you should take a look back into the past and see how those who weren't white were treated. That may open your eyes to a little truth.
Big bucks advertising budget... no wonder, coca-cola own the rights to Ki-Ora... and fanta, sprite, dr pepper, capri sun.... and more! Ever wondered why any of them can spend so much on advertising?!
@NotATube dunno, good question though, one thing is to out this kinda ad out on TV at the times they did took some reasonable financial clout so maybe they did,. I wondered were the hell sprite came from in the 80s and lo and behold it was coca cola. They also own the rights to produce Capri Sun in the UK, Malvern water, schwepps (Cadbury own it, Coke make it), and some other stuff.
Sorry ,I said I've never saw this ad before.

Soon as I saw it, knew the inevitable bores would have the 'pc' discussion. Great funny advert regardless of any nonsense.

Well THIS wouldn't be allowed on anymore would it!? :(

WOW. It's so rare to see animation of that caliber. Especially on TV.

"Politically incorrect" is the PC term for "entitled reactionary white assholes"

Cool addy. It does lose one star for being slightly racist though.

@jmsvids; yeah, but did Coca Cola own Kia-Ora at the time this advert went out? It's over 25 years old.

great advert, but kia-ora really is a poor second to robinsons juice.. the poor kids always had kia-ora as i recall..
robotwun 2 years ago
yeah but robinsons orange tastes cheap and foul, kia-ora is much more smooth
