I think Tobi is the 10 tails somehow, Ive actually been thinking that for awhile now, over a couple months since the beginning of the five kage summit.
How can it be the juubis chakra if the sage of the six paths divided them into the tailed beasts, it can't be the sage cuz Tobi said he died along time ago remember he had to choose between his two sons, so it's down to two options madaras brother or obito uchiha, or what if it's madaras brother in obitos body lol that be wierd
hmmm, it's true that izuna's body was seen in a coffin, but haven't we seen kabuto create fake corpses before? i think it was during the episodes where sai joined orochimaru for a while, they made a fake sai to throw off naruto, sakura and kakashi. if kabuto could do it, maybe others can too? perhaps it was around back in madara and izuna's time as well, so the body in the coffin was a fake? something i randomly thought off just now.. :) i'm hoping it's izuna personally. makes for nice symmetry.
@ritsukachoo by symmetry i mean the older brothers (madara and itachi) being edo-tensei wondering about what their younger brothers (izuna and sasuke) are up to, why they're trying to take over the world and such. :P
remember when tobi fought konan , at the end of the fight , she said in a shocked tone ''i thought you were?'' , the he with a confidence tone raised his eye nd said ''dead' , like the way i read that made me think like wait what if kishi sneaked that line in there to make you think

And yet I don't want to lean that way because Izuna would be blind so why summon him anyway? @Gogibo Both Kagami and Obito saw first hand the havoc that comes with a Great Ninja War, Kagami taking part in the first great ninja war and obito the third. So the purpose of collecting all the tailed beast was in the end to accomplish the moon eye plan, which was according to "Tobi" the only way to bring peace to this chaotic ninja world. The purpose of the Akatsuki served the purpose of gather all the tailed beasts.
being no one can help obito theories. obito was just a no one. a common uchiha who wasnt any more special than anyone else. to us we know him as kakashis friend but to a common ninja they wont even recognize him as anybody so no one is more appropriate. maby kishi was too obvious it was obito so he led us off the trail and made it look like theres no way it could be him. possibly obito with madaras evil chacra so hes influenced by him and brainwashed
@ThePidgeottosNest I agree. In his time, we was perhaps the most underachieved Uchiha of them all, saying in his own words how he was late in awakening his Sharingan. Many also considered him as weak and frugal. So this definitely helps the Obito theories more then it hurts. Thanks for your comment.
@ThePidgeottosNest His age could be a disqualifying factor though due to obito being about kakashi's age and kakashi being 14 when "Tobi" attacked the village.
@tyson543 yep! u are are right but..we don't know if the masked person that fought the 4th hokage is the same one with tobi, what if madara was the man behind the mask behind the ninetails attack back then and his student was obito, obito could take his place when madara died..

Thought (!) What is Madara/Izuna brainwashed Kagami who found Obito, who is obviously a relative. Taking Obito's eye, giving him the 1 replacement eye he'd need to unlock mangekyo, also explaining why Tobi's eye acts the opposite of Kakashi's. My bet would have to be on Kagami, even if not the situation stated above. He is old enough to wear the wrinkles and be alive, as well as to have known Madara, or Madara's plan.
@TimmySodaPop Great theory. I think its very possible that certain scars could be mistaken for wrinkles. So considering we've seen the left side of his face(Tobi) to a certain extent when he is implanting his new Zetsu arm, I cannot but believe that it is Obito since I did not see any sign of wrinkles. As for Kagami taking Obitos eye, I cannot entirely throw away that idea but i'm thinking of the number of characterisitics that fall into the character of none other then Obito.
Tobi might be a zetsu with madaras DNA or a high chance that he is the elder son of the sage. he is definetly not obito.
