Great video , I am pregnant and abortion crossed my mind more than once. I was wrongly informed that at 6 weeks my baby was just a couple of cells. ANd that no harm would be done by aborting it. I was sadly mistaken and I am so glad that i had the blindfold ripped away by watching this video.

@tiffytaffyify..i'm so sorry for ur lost. I had miscarriage also last year. The baby stopped growing at 7th week. I didnt know anything until i came for my prenatal visit n found out he was gone. That was horrible feeling. I can understand how u feel. Pls be strong, take courage to try again when u ready & this wat all ppl said to me last tym. Dont blame urself. this is the week that i my baby had come detached from the umbilical cord and stopped growing. i didn't even know it happened until later on. i like to come to this site and look to see what my baby looked like and just remember him/her. wish all of you luck who are watching this video.

Not to say that abortion isn't acceptable in certain situations, But if you and your baby are healthy and the conception was consensual, that baby deserves to live. After all, once a baby is in the picture, IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT YOU ANYMORE!

I am a very educated person, including nursing school and extra maternity courses and clinical rotations, as I plan to specialize in high-risk maternity. You are wrong about the heart at 5 weeks. Just like how the baby began to form, as a cell that grew through mitosis, so does the heart. It starts out as a cell in the baby's body and through mitosis begins to form. By week 9 it is almost fully formed.

@kirjarlane It is not however even beating at this point. The cell that becomes the heart "pulsates" like the heart does, appearing to have a fully grown, beating heart. The heart of a baby in gestations doesn't even work like the heart of a baby that is born. It doesn't use all of the chambers because the mother is pumping the blood for them giving it oxygen. I am not getting in the middle of your pro/con debate. Just be careful of what you spout off as fact before you check that it is.

I guess if a person is OK, with eating a shrimp or an egg, then having an abortion within the 2 first months of pregnancy, also is ok. Thats my opinion...

I'm vegetarian but I eat eggs at times, and if I ever became pregnant accidentally, and never wanted a baby I, would love to have a choice to remove the foetus..

A person should be careful before hand, but sometimes SHIT HAPPENS and women should have free choice, especially if the father is absent
