Actually I meant it was a good idea not to wear a costume. Wearing modern clothes gives it a perspectiv.

yes of course you are right, but at the other hand, I wouldn't for example paint my harpsichord in a modern design, would you paint your lute metallic? But that is perhaps quite an other discussion...

I like this idea. It bridges time. It may just as well be you standing there because what you are doing is pretty much whats happening in Vermeer's painting.
