You need to do more of these!!!!!! This was positively incredible and creative beyond words! Were you shot against a green screen? I almost freaked when I saw the music master move. You are just too much, my Renaissance-man! BRIAN
You have some fantastic ideas and I like your modern clothes. It's tempting to dress in a costume from Vermeer's time. And it's a lovely piece of music. Thanks I can see you playing in the mirror! Amazing
thank you Trond. Of course I want to keep it low budget, so no costumes, I'm afraid. But at the other hand, I still could have some surprises in petto? Kind regards.
yes of course you are right, but at the other hand, I wouldn't for example paint my harpsichord in a modern design, would you paint your lute metallic? But that is perhaps quite an other discussion...
I like this idea. It bridges time. It may just as well be you standing there because what you are doing is pretty much whats happening in Vermeer's painting.

In the fun spirit of this video, I like to imagine that the young woman is sitting on a very high stool, playing the virginal with her toes.

My wife (and I)love this video and music. I noticed you in the picture above the virginal for the first time. Always creative Ernst and nice music!

Actually I meant it was a good idea not to wear a costume. Wearing modern clothes gives it a perspectiv.

Strange, but interesting. I'm starting to like these, although I think nothing beats watching the actual performance. Thanks for the music.

sometimes it is just enough to close your eyes and listen, don't you agree?

Yes indeed, and Susanne van Soldt could have been pretty much like this girl in the picture.

In french the title is "Une jeune fillette" (the words sung in the film Tous les matins du monde) and also known as "La Monica".
Nice to here this version, a real lesson of virginal... ;-)
Thanks Prof !
