AWESOME!! Two questions, would it be quieter and still function with subsonic ammo? and, did the suppressor manufacturer list the decibel reduction? GREAT VIDS!
Ha! I was just watching Fireman Sam / Sam Tân vids in English and Welsh with my toddler, then found yours when he went off to bed and thought to myself, "that accent sounds familiar."
THE ONLY RELIABLE FULL-AUTO RUGER 10/22 .22LR SUB MACHINE GUNS ON THIS EARTH. We are living in the 'golden age' of firearm design & modification. Look at this wild thing on my YouTube. GUN SLINGER VIDEOS sells a DVD video explaining an easy way the convert any semi-auto Ruger 10/22 rifle into a true full-auto. All other Ruger full-auto conversions suffer from 'bolt-bounce / light-strikes' which cause many malfunctions. GSV conversions have been tested with no malfunctions.
@PatVRulz you have a lot to say about firearms for someone who has non , i look your video are gay shit like game play , your also a retard that makes canada look stupid with your stupid lies , please sir , jump in front on a bus .
@PatVRulz While I regularly shoot .22 long without ear protection, even the sub sonic rounds are well about decibel levels to cause hearing loss. especially from a pistol.
as of always.. ear protection, eye protection... but yet shoots along side of a road lol! im pretty sure its this guys drive way but it just sounded funny! great vid on compareing the two.. im actually looking at suppressing my kimber 22 conv kit...
LMFAO, heat?only way heat produces sound is through plasma. Silencers reduce dB by dispersing gasses through multiple chambers, the crack you hear is the bullet AND the gasses exiting the muzzle, silencer+subsonic ammunition= audible dB reduction up to 45% depending on caliber and silencer design. Wet Silences are best if you want ultra quiet firing. But why would you need that on a carry gun? Unless....
@friscob1 No its a simple case of removing the original barrel end cap on the outer false barrel and replacing with a threaded one the conversions are cheap for this lovely little gun
@GT03235 Oh thats what I was thinking but I didnt want to make a comment in case I was wrong. Anyway, great video, Im not of age yet but when I am I want to replace my ruger .22 with one of these.
@Dubak25 At the end of the barrel when the slide is off there is a large nut which holds the barrel inside a shroud this is unscrewed and an adapter is jusr screwed on i have a video on how to do this.
GTO, please get your facts straight on how suppressors work. They don't suppress the sound because they absorb the heat. It works on the same principles as a car muffler...by baffling sound. HEAT? lmao
Never understood eye protection? Why ricochet? Cause if u get hit by a ricochet its not ur eyes u wanna worry bout its ur brain getting blown at the back of ur head.
To all who are talking about it jamming you have to use round tiped ammo you use the more blunt cheaper ammo it will jam every time.I love this gun good carry gun if you don't want to be weighted down.
Very nice clean shoot. I owned a Walther P22 and ran into many jamming problems with the vast majority of ammo, if I recollect correctly Federal always fired real clean with few if any jams.
**PLEASE HELP!**I'm looking at buying one with a brushed chrome finish this week. I've heard about many problems (jamming, FTE) with this weapon. I've heard that using CCI rounds fixes the problem, and some say that that's where the problem lies. Seeing you burst out that first magazine gives me hope...what rounds are you using?
People don't really respect how incredibly loud the W. p22 is. on the range it sounds more like a .38 and has an enormous ball of flame at the end of the barrel. The suppressor contains all of the flame inside the baffles and lets the gasses cool and slow down before exiting the weapon. As a gun the p22 is an excellent gun to suppress, the .22 cartridge simply needs more room to completely combust, a suppressor gives it that room.
aright Butt, tidy video. Welsh or wot. Thanks for the vids, great, as you know hand guns are illegal in UK so nice to see you enjoying them. I live in ynysybwl, South Wales. Cheers.
@kcyrus1 Heat is absorbed into the suppressor which in turn helps in removing the sound. Make a suppressor wet and even more heat and sound is taken away
@GT03235 That is not quite how it works. The majority of the noise from a gun comes from the gasses exiting the barrel faster than the speed of sound creating a high pressure wave (a "sonic boom"). The surpressor uses baffels to slow down the air so this high pressure wave is eliminated. The noise you are still hearing is actually the bullet breaking the sound barrier. If the bullet was traveling sub-sonic you would eliminate the sound completely.

@D4X4D The 22 l'r can vary between 1050ft per sec to around 1600 ft per sec dependant on projectile weight which does not make them subsonic! Anything below that figure will be subsonic they get this by smaller amounts of propellant or heavier projectiles (bullets)
@GT03235 Thank you... So basically all bullets can be subsonic? Is a 9mm bullet normally subsonic? Also what is the point of a suppresor mainly? besides looking cool XD
@D4X4D the info was slightly off. Sub sonic ammo is ammo designed to be slower then the speed of sound. When you hear a rifle go off, unless you are very near the rifle, what you usualy hear is the sonic boom the round is making. Silencer + subsonic ammo means all you should hear is the mechanical sound of the gun cycle. Besides looking cool, it makes it more fun to shoot as you dont have the loud pop to deal with anymore.
@D4X4D No, not all bullets can be subsonic. For example, you will never get a .223 bullet to safely exit the barrel below the speed of sound. The key here is SAFETY! Barrel pressure being too low is more dangerous than being too high. The bullet may not exit the barrel if the pressure is too low an you are then left with nothing short of a pipe bomb sitting in your hand.

if you want a tested and proven, accurate, solid suppressed AMERICAN MADE 22 buy a ruger MKII.

I like his stylish outfit and sexy physique. It simply wouldnt do to have sleeves on a shirt like that. Especially when you are such eye-candy! He must have women throwing themselves at him to a degree that he's just sick of it. What a lucky guy!
