@skillsforever1 It's original XBOX. I don't think Burnout 2 runs on 360, tho Burnout 3 does and is still available on XBOX Live Marketplace I believe. The online side will not work on old xbox1 titles as XBOX Live 1 was pulled back in 2010.

@skillsforever1 All the music comes from the game it's self and is the default sound track of each stage once loaded... I have no idea what the names would be. Awesome in-house music before EA killed the series any way.

By the looks of it, it's either "Custom Roadster" or "Supercar". Xbox version had the possibility to use different colors on Championship/Custom vehicles than in GameCube or PS2. But the sound of the engine sounds more of a "Supercar".

If the glitches didnt show up I might of kept playing, just not my thang.. OutRun2 soon took over though and that along with OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast have been my bread and butter ever since. Burnout3 & Revenege lasted little over a week. Once I clocked um it was back to OutRun. Sega fan a heart. ;-)

Cool stuff!! Looking back @ my mail from Alex Ward I'd say SEP 2003 was around the time HALOMAN did the dirty on me lol. I swear I had to find these 2 out from trial and error, I knew he'd jumped the track. :)

When I checked the leader board the other day very few had found the glitch and the reason why this vid was made. ;-)

And yeah, I did this Burnout x WOW stuff, because I was interested what the game says, when you get more than 999 burnouts. I thought it will begin again with "0", but then I was suprised to see "WOW".

As far as I know, only one other guy also achieved this result. His (nick)name is micmic85 and he now holds nearly all time trial records on cyberscore. I think most of them are also better than the scores on x-box live.

The Big Surf Grove (R) shortcut was also found by German guys that I know.

If I remember corrrect it was ** HALOMAN ** (FRANCE) on XBOX some 3 years ago that first pulled it off. I was #1 overall Burnout2 player on xbox (twice as they reset the scoreboatds to add country codes to names) for over 6monsth and it was Haloman who took the crown via these 2 tracks and shaved alot of time off. As I said curiosity has me looking for it, becuase I had milked the tracks without chesse. :)

What version are you playing? PS2 by any chance? Indeed things may of happened and were found by different people on the PS2 version, but remember this was a different scene to what was going on with XBOX via LiVE. As I said on your burnout chain vid your 1000+ WOW is the highest known chain, XBOX is some 700+ so you didnt play the xbox version via xboxlive did you. ;-)

I play on GameCube.

Some people competed on www.cyberscore.net (highscore site for many games). Once we (GC&PS2 players) asked a guy who had the x-box version to post the x-box live records. And most of our records were better than the records on X-Box live. And at this time I already used the shortcut.
