What you need to understand Jesse is that you dont have to yell and scream at people to get your point across. That is what drives people away from God. There are rappers that rap about christianity. Oh I'm all about fire and brimstone preaching. I'm a big fan of it, i.e. Paul Washer. Big fan of it! However, NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU KNOW UNTIL THEY KNOW THAT YOU CARE. Jesus preached harshly to the believers and the ones who should know better, like those who knew the law. Whenever preachers wax elaborately on and on about people's sins, it unfortunately drowns out the rest the Bible has to say about sin. That it can be forgiven. That there is a savior. That sin enslaves people. That not all are still in bondage. How Christ can set you free. Etc, etc, etc.

You have sinned and do sin daily and everyone has sinned, God says so in Romans 3: 23 which says, "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God," and that includes me and Jessie. I am not confident in Jessie's preaching and think that he is bringing a reproach on the gospel as he seems to find a delight in proclaiming judgement, but no grace. He's only preaching half the gospel.

You are only preaching half the Gospel. You say that we are sinners. But the Gospel is that Jesus Christ changes us so that we are no longer sinners. Jesus saves us, not only from the penalty of sin, but also from the practice of sin.

Before I knew Jesus I sinned every day. But by His grace I've been saved from the practice of sin.
