hey on our farm we got in my opinion 1 one the best trucks ever mad it is a 2005 chevy duramax diesel that my opinion though i love ur videos can u also make a video of that lx series lawnmower
thinking about buying a 97 powerstroke for my first truck/ first vehical ever and have heard really good things about the 7.3 but want to get one either old or newer body style what should i look for and whta amount of miles and what kind of problems do they tipicly have? thanks mike
I just bought a 97 f250 HD five speed manual tranny, 7.3 XLT...got it for 7500 only has 100,000 on it...EXtended cab...seems to be a nice truck...I had a dodge cummins before... I really like the old 12 valve cummins engine but the truck seems to fall apart around it...So I got a Ford this time. But Im not a big fan of the indipendent front suspention that my Ford has.
Dude i subed u got some good videos im hopeing to move to montana to work for the railroad within the next year. But i like the power stroke good story lol! I got a 1995 ford f-150 with the 4.9 liter 300 inline 6 its only got around 115,000 miles lol and if u know those inline 6s will go forever lol! But tell me what u think of those inline 6s! PS GOOD VIDEOS!
i just got a 96 powerstroke 5 speed, I really love the 7.3, much better then the 6.0. it only has 190,000, I plan on puttin at least another 200,000 on her.
@MegaMoto4 its just fords in house diesel its a powerstroke but rumor mill has it that in the future ford is going to start puting cummins in their trucks..
Sweet video, I have a chance to buy a 97' crewcab powerstroke with 260,000 on it and a new transmission over last summer for 5 grand.... good deal or not? what do you think?
why diesel engines last longer is a debateable issue... usually I claim that they do because of the more precise fuel injection and lower RPM range which means less carbon build up and less stress on engine components but they are also built with heavier internals which I heard claimed makes them last longer... whatever the reason they sure do last huh
it lasts longer because diesel burns and gas explodes so basically it pushes the piston through the whole power stroke vs gas has an explosion that smacks the piston at the top of the power stroke. diesel burning is a lot smoother
I tell ya, ur powerstroke definitely has to be a testament to Ford quality, especially when it comes to the powerstoke diesels man...shoot, closing in on 400,000 miles is not always a easy feat, even for the most well maintained vehicles, sometimes things just happen....but not in this case....that is one tough truck there Wayne, and glad to see its still going strong for the most part....Cool video man!!! :)
yeah Im trying like hell to get videos up dude but now its fricking snowing here and Ive been trying to get field work done so it seem like its just been one thing after another here lately... whatcha gonna do though lol
even though i dont like fords. if i ever bought one it would have to be a power stroke or a ranger. thats one thing that ford does good is the power stroke and the ranger.

wagner59270 2 years ago
i think theyre gonna keep the powerstroke name, but the new engine will be made by Ford, instead of International
tablerape 1 year ago
@MegaMoto4 Yes and no... There making there own diesel for the first time ever but it will still be called a powerstroke. Its going to be a 6.7L
YamahaR62008Raven 1 year ago

@MegaMoto4 The 6.7 is still a Powerstroke, they got rid of Navistar engines, and developing/using their own.
Smart choice IMHO, seeing the bad things that were happening after the 7.3 was dropped.
I own a 7.3 IDI and a 7.3 Powerstroke, Amazing motors, 6.0.....not so much, don't know enough about the 6.4 yet to offer an opinion.

i think diesels last longer than gas because diesel fuel lubercates and gas cleans
