You can get most natural hair products (essential/carrier oils, leave-ins, veggie glycerins, etc) on iherb.com. Just got aloe juice and castor oil. It’s a really good website. This time of the year they also have great discount and they have a flat shipping rate of $4 but depending on the weight of your order, you might as little as $2 for shipping. Here is a coupon for you ladies and gents to use for $5 off: ARU392 (this is for first time orders). Many people can use it.
@ButterflyNatural This is a basic twist out style. I shampooed and deep conditioned my hair and then twisted it up in small individual twist with leave-in conditioner and olive oil on the ends. I let it air dry and then took the twists out. Each night I put a scarf on my hair and in the morning I fluff, put some oil on it, brush down my edges, and keep on moving.
@NaturalJourney thanks for your reply. i love your page. if you ever have time, please let us see how it looks when its twisted before you take it down so we can see the size of the twists. do you roll the ends with rollers or rods? I have tried to do a twist on mine but it just looks horrible. I plan to "like" your FB page today. Take care (Niquelle.Renee).
@ButterflyNatural Hi there...yes, the next time I shampoo my hair (this weekend) will do a portion of the video with the twists in so you can see how they look. Thanks for joining me on FB and on YT!!!
Secondly, my issue with the diet is that neither Glickman or Burrough were specialists in medicine, bio-chemistry or nutrition. After reading Glickman's book it lacks any scientific research/data and is literally page after page of anecdotal evidence, which was disappointing.
I stopped after day 8, after watching "Sugar The Bitter Truth" a lecture from the University of California as I was concerned with the level of sugar (from the maple syrup) I was consuming, also had to brush my teeth several times a day. Just something to note ;-) I didnt experience any detox symptoms only stomach cramping from the laxative... all in all it wasn't a bad experience and I lost 6lbs. Hopefully I'll keep the weight off :-)
@S1MNICITY I respect your opinion and your decision to stop. I am going to keep going for now as I got great benefits from it when I did it for 8 days. I'm only on day 3.
All the best on your MC. This will be the 1st year in maybe a decade I don't MC in January :*( ... but I'm minding my diet due to health issues this year.
I started my cleanse today, 1 day late. I too experienced feeling cold and slight headach. I am new at this and so I hope it is okay that I had salad for dinner (very little w/o any dressing). I am going to try going forward w/o any eating.
Day 2 and going strong! yeaaaaaa!! I'm not on FB, but maybe I'll create a page for this. I was freezing today at work, oh my goodness but I think it was compounded by the fact that the heat was just not up to par at work today. I put extra cayenne powder in my drink to combat it- more than one way to skin a cat! And I'm taking my space heater tomorrow! lol
oh, thanks for the video. Looking for your encouragement all day today. This is day 2 for me as well. First day back to work from holiday vacation and my office employees went out to Taco Bell and brought it back to the office offering me Tacos. I had to refuse. It smelled so good. I know my reward is waiting for me at the end of this journey.
@divatreva1 My pleasure...are you on Facebook? Can you log on there at work, because there is a whole group of us that post throughout the day and it really helps keep everyone on track. Check us out if you can....the page is called NaturalJourney.
