Excellent talk....I, too, am a strong advocate of healthy lifestyle as a means of preventing chronic illnesses... but am frustrated with the results. I do believe that environmental /external changes are the answer....the same tactics/strategies/policies used for reducing the number of smokers need be applied to the obesity epidemic. As a physician I can only treat the "leaves on the trees" whereas Dr. Farley can manage the "forest" ...a much more efficient approach. Andrew Siegel, M.D.
